I won't tell you about the kids under 5 yrs old getting killed in Ukraine because it is too much for me. But I will tell you about another casualty of the Russians wanting to take over the land of Ukraine. The pets. People had to leave with little notice when they were told not that the Russians were coming. Still, their missiles were straight to them because they were civilians, and the idea was like Putin did in Syria and destroyed the cities where they wanted their soldiers or allies to take over. First, they did the recognizance of where the hospitals, schools, and plain projects of buildings housing the poor in Ukraine. Then they send the missiles they had for a nuclear war without the nukes just explosives and the drones that have been supplied by Iran.
The following is just one of the many stories, I can only do one at a time but at least it will tell pet owners around the world that they need to help Ukraine, and put pressure on their governments not to believe the threat the ex KGB who has known nothing but lies of their secret service and killing those that don't submit.
This story is very hard for me to write anything about it and give the details of how these poor animals are dying but so are the babies and kids. These are the deeds of the monster of Moscow, born in St. Petersburg. Im going to post what the international media has written. No need to give ten stories because what Im posting is telling you what happens there. Sometimes we forget those that can't defend themselves and we assume they are being defended. The owners of those pets are dying, how can they defend their animals?
If you follow the news you must know that at the time the Russians were at their weakest the US and Nato members with the exception of Poland were not sending help. Now if the Ukranians were to take hold of their air space the bombing to not soldiers, but civilians would stop. We still don't do it and eventually, it will be given because the scream will be to oud the people inform which won't allow for these killings from Putin will stop. Let him fight the soldiers. But this is the way Russians fight. Kill those that cant defend themselves, those whose families might be families and they will lose their hearts to fight. That's how stupid they are on those unnecessary deaths because if your love one is killed would make you cry and hide or you will look for the killers?
The answer for this is from all the money we give our government to avoid our friends to be killed because another nation wants their land. That is why the French came to help George Washington against the imperial English government.
"When the explosions hit, they panic and howl a lot," says Olena Vorontsova, describing the brutal reality of trying to run a shelter for dozens of abandoned dogs in the middle of a warzone. "But I will never leave my dogs."
It was very different nine years ago when Olena started her dog shelter in Dnipro - Ukraine's fourth largest city - after finding a puppy on the side of the road.
Her husband was unhappy with the decision - for Olena, it was the first of many dogs she would eventually take in.
"In the end, I took her home, and I have never regretted it," she said.
Since Putin's invasion of Ukraine last February, the number of dogs she is looking after has soared to nearly 100, with more in need of help every day. The number of dogs in the shelter has swelled from 32 to 88 since the outbreak of war. (The Red Shed)
In the initial aftermath of the outbreak of war, humanitarian aid was brought to the Dnipro area by volunteers, but Vorontsova, 36, said it has nearly stopped as time has gone on, leaving her desperate for help to look after the dogs in her care.
With limited funding, she is struggling to feed and look after the dogs and get the right vet treatment for those suffering from injury or illness.
But despite the challenges and the struggle and terror of war, Vorontsova has never considered abandoning the animals in her care.
The Red Shed, an animal welfare charity based in Ireland, is now trying to help her so she can move the dogs to a safer plot of land with more space and appropriate facilities. meaning her support network is already strained. Despite having no background in animal care or any formal training, she has continued to take dogs in - before the war in Ukraine last year she was looking after 32.
Since then, the number has swelled to 88 with desperate people leaving dogs with her, leading Vorontsova to have to turn many away.
