NASA is Looking For Mars Space Food Testers
NASA is accepting applications through Feb. 29 for human guinea pigs to sample space food for 120 days in a simulated trip to Mars, which, in this case, is a lava flow in Hawaii. Scientists will record participants' reactions to determine what shrink-wrapped delicacies will whet space travelers' palates on future cosmic missions, according to a Mashable report.
Not everyone is eligible to apply for this gastronautical adventure: Applicants need a science degree and "professional experience," though @Kasia_S rightly asks, "Why do you need degree in science to qualify for that?"
