THE GAME:"Closeted gays are the only kind of gays I cannot get behind"
Rapper Game advises: 'Be gay and be proud'
While busy promoting The R.E.D. Album, Jayceon Terrell Taylor, better known asThe Game, or simply Game (one word, like Cher), has revealed that closeted gays are the only kind of gays he cannot get behind.
The rapper was speaking to VLAD TV's probing male reporter who brought up the possibility of gay rappers, "considering how many gay people there are in entertainment..."
"I think that there are several rappers who are in the closet and gay," The Game replied. "I don't have a problem with gay people. Beyonce should have said, 'Who Run The World? Gays'. Because they're everywhere, man, and rightfully so...it's a free country. Be gay, you can do that. Game don't have a problem with gay people. Game has a problem with people who are pretending not to be gay but are gay. The number one issue with that is that you can be fooling somebody and you can give them AIDS and they can die so that 'in the closet' shit is real scary."
The interviewer didn't ask Game whether he thought AIDS was a gay disease or why the gay rulers of the world don't have their own palace, currency and national holidays, but he did mention a female artist who says she reckons she's worked with gay rappers. "That's crazy," replies Game, suddenly surprised that gay rappers might indeed exist and be sharing studio space. Time for the tough question: Could Game himself have shared a studio with a gay?
"Possibly, man. And not being just full-out gay, just pretending he loves girls and lives the rap lifestyle, but really he's a man fan. There's a lot of man fans out there in hip-hop. I see how you n*****s be looking at n*****s when I be around. They be looking at n*****s crazy. You might see a rapper looking at another rapper like he's got a problem but really he's looking at him as a man fan. There's a lot of man fans in hip-hop."
"Be gay and be proud," Game advises. Word.
The R.E.D. Album is the new #1 on the Billboard album chart and Game has promised to follow anyone on Twitter who buys more than one copy.
