Another Cop Charged with Rape:Now in Philly[susp.for 30 days/intent to dismiss]

Philadelphia Police Officer Keith Corley
Philadelphia Police Officer Keith Corley has been charged with raping a woman while on duty earlier this month, according to the District Attorney's office. Corley, who is 27 and works out of the West Philly-based 18th Police District, has been on the force for about four years.
Police sources have been whispering about a pending arrest for weeks, ever since the rumors of his alleged assault emerged. A 32-year-old woman told police that she was waiting for a bus near 52nd and Market streets around 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 11, and that Corley offered her a ride home. Instead, she told police that Corley drove her to a nearby park and assaulted her in the back of his patrol car.
Investigators took DNA evidence and processed the car. Today, Corley was charged with rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, indecent exposure and related charges.
As is his style, Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey announced immediately that Corley has been suspended for 30 days with the intent to dismiss.
