When you hear the words "world championship diving" what usually comes to mind? Probably something along the lines of the adorable and smoking hot Matthew Mitcham all dripping wet, right?
Let's face it, when it comes to hot sports, it's hard to beat guys with perfect swimmer's builds in tiny Speedos flying through the air with unbelievable grace. Turns out that's true most of the time, but not quite always. The 14th FINA World Championships are currently underway in Shanghai, China and Getty photographer Ezra Shaw seemed less focused on the sexy divers climbing out of the pool, and more on pics like this...
In fact, there are more than a dozen shots of these world class divers wearing expressions that range anywhere between agonizing constipation and, well, in some cases we're not sure what they might be feeling.
