Lady Gaga and Hilary Clinton Both Believe Human Rights are Gay Rights and Gay Rights/Human
Rome, site of ancient chariot races and gladiatorial contests was the host of gay pride starring none other than Lady Gaga because times change so get over it.
The following is by David Mangan. It was published in the Orange County Register . "Before this summer is over adamfoxie* wanted to reminisce about how it started. To me it started with Gaga in Rome, despite all the threads from the vatican and the pressure they put on the Italian government. The government stayed firm. Separation of State and Rome. Wish we as americans would remember and keep that in mind as a warning.....that the two don't mix despite of all this politics, mainly southern that are not happy with their nation. They want change, change so things can be the old ways. Well, most of us don't want the old days. We want to continue in a path of human rights for all, not the few".
The U.S. Ambassador to Italy announced the earth-shaking news, saying Ms. Gaga has accepted the invitation to participate in the parade on June 11 in Rome’s Circus Maximus – the closing event of 2011 EuroPride.
In a statement, David Thorne said he is “very proud to have an Italian-American artist of her stature” come to the Italian capital, even though Gaga isn’t that tall. He quoted U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as saying “human rights are gay rights and gay rights are human rights.”
Gaga, who dresses funny, was invited by Thorne and the local organizers of EuroPride, which takes place each year in a different European city.
