Linda Harvey's views:        When we last heard from Linda Harvey, she was warning us that the National Education Association was offering “financial incentives” to students for engaging in homosexual behaviors, how gays were a bad employment risk, and that marriage equality would lead to a “perpetual pansexual pagan party.”

Now, Harvey — the founder of Columbus, Ohio-based Mission America, whose real mission is to spread hate and falsehoods about the LGBT community — says gays and lesbians should be banned from teaching, and any other job that involves children, for that matter.

“Kids should not be put in the confusing position of having a teacher they like and respect in many ways who’s also known to be practicing homosexual behavior. Of course that’s where many of our children in public schools today find themselves because the National Education Association not only allows but applauds and defends openly homosexuality and even transvestite teachers …”

“The fact is that no homosexuality should be in our schools, period. When people leave that behavior behind, then they might be qualified for a job involving children. Out and proud homosexuals should not have jobs that involve children. I know that’s not the current policy in many schools but it should be.”

There two reasons that I posted the words of this homophobic woman. First it is news. This is because it's being picked up by the major news outfits. Secondly, and I will concentrate on the adoption part, since these are subjects that are so sensitive with many examples that could keep someone like me talking for days. We don't want that. We want a straight forward way to address this lier. Once is news we need to deal with it. We can't let an ignorant homophobic woman tell us " how bad we are"  It's not the way it works. Anyone that works with children or try to adopt in any state they put them selves in the spot light of the government(child welfare, etc) to be investigated. Out -gay and Lesbian parents always score more than anybody else. Not only on the application, but after years of follow up on these cases. Yet there are problems. The problems come from the straight community with couples that are looking to adapt for other reason than for raising a son or daughter. In  some states, poor people that adopt are given a stipend ($188 and up a month) for those people to get those kids off from the states hand. But for middle class gay  families  such an open door policy is not what they encounter when they want to adopt. By the way, in many states if there is a rich man or woman that wants to adopt, they are given preference. I know of cases in which an older gay guy adopted  this poor adoptive boy, only to have it convert the boy into the slave and wive as wives were 100 yrs. ago or more. They travel anywhere legally and check into the same hotel because  is father and son,same last name. Legal to sleep in the same bed. Nothing the boy can do, He is however bought what he wants, with stipulation that is only his while he stays at his new home, otherwise he is drop off at the beach or neighborhood where he was picked up.

So, as a community we need to watch for those kinks in the system that works against us, never mind the adopted kids... they are the  real victims victims, even if some of them don't know it. Giving a poor boy, the best dogs , horses, travels everywhere, nice house, cars . It will be hard for an adult to resist never mind a kid; and we all know adults do it all the time.  They go into a relationship because of the stipends not the love, because there is no love, no  sexual love.

 As for this low individual as Linda Harvey, we can't be surprise about any lies or half lies she says. We most be prepared to fight her on her own territory. Fight her with the statistics of how good gay adoptive parents are. 

The ones that do things that are not  correct for a real small minority , they can do it because of the money they have to buy off or at least misrepresent of who they are. Nice paid lawyers do the leg work on this. Keeping in mind that the same thing happens in the the straight world...except there,  is worse!

There is so much to learn on this. But the thing that this homophobe does not address is the general trafficking of kids. No, she wont touch that because it involves mainly girls and drug cartels in her straight world.

Why an adult can say these things about a group of people that has only done good in lowering the adoption backlog and is able to do so much more?  But people like this don't care about the kids. They care about a religious believe. I know people don't like it when I say the following and in some cases is disrespectful, but this is the way I feel. If there was no religion on the face of the earth, there would be so much less violence and wars. as we know most wars have religion at it's nucleous.   Please do try to come out and be one of the people that can argue the disparities of homophobic, gay and straights alike. This without having to worry or shame, because you already know who you are.
