Facebook Campaign for Luke and Noah Together on A Movie

It’s been so nice to be able to follow the beginnings of the Sonny and Will storyline on Days of Our Lives. I hope it continues to unfold nicely with intelligence, heart and authenticity.

Of course this ground has been tread before with Luke and Noah on the now-canceled As the World Turns.

I know I’m not the only fan who misses this duo – especially the Emmy-nominated Van Hansisas Luke. He and Jake Silbermann (as Noah) has wonderful chemistry and worked together so well as a team – even when the scripts at times did not serve them so well.

Anyway, got an email today from Dennis Watkins who asked me to promote Luke & Noah Film Project Facebook page.

It states: The campaign has been setup to garner as many people as we can to show support for a Luke & Noah movie. The purpose of the movie will be to complete the love story that was started on As The World Turns that left fans wondering what happen when ATWT went off the air.

Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann brought these characters to life and gave them meaning and purpose through their outstanding talent and acting abilities. It is the hope that they would reprise their roles in the movie.

Although Luke has fallen in love with Reid Oliver (Eric Sheffer Stephens) in the soap’s final year, Reid was killed in the soap’s final days and the series ended with Luke and Noah still very close and the possibility of a future together was not out of the question.

Hey, these Facebook campaigns can work if they gain enough momentum. We all know what one did for Betty White!
