Even The Dutch Military Attend (1st time) Amsterdam Pride March

  |

It was a pleasant evening here in Europe being that this is the Gay Pride in Amsterdam and for the first time the Military of the Nederland’s joins in the celebrations read about that here. Additional local news form Amsterdamhere. Then it was brought to my attention that former Us Army Lt. DanCamwhore” Choi is among the tens of thousands of celebrants. That news made us go limp, faster than a salt tablet. Who the hell invited this guy? Someone has some explaining to do. As if getting arrested in Russia last month during a banned gay Pride manifestation was not enough for the Dan Choi now he’s here bad mouthing the Obama administration in Amsterdam. One waits with great anticipation to the days these guys 15 minutes expire. In our opinion they expired the moment he came out on national TV while active duty. In an interview he stated "I intend to go back to the Army, in whatever capacity they most need," he told The Associated Press. But he'd like to be in the Army Reserve so that he can continue developing his new role as a gay-rights activist.” Herein lays the problem; Dan there aren’t activists of any persuasion in the military corps in fact it is against regulations but you know this. There can be no exceptions made simply because you are gay. I bet anything the Rachel Maddow regrets opening the bottle and allowing the genie out. You want to be an activist, great, but not while in uniform. In fact I would be highly disappointed if the Army Command offered you another commission. You sir have been a disgrace to the core and its principles since Day One. I have nothing against activism but not while in uniform. One must ask why you and your followers believe an exception ought to be made in your case. No, it shouldn’t and you should be in Fort Leavenworth not here in Europe spewing your hate for the president and military corps disrespect.

Dutch military joins Gay Pride parade for 1st time

AMSTERDAM -- Embracing a policy of "Do Tell," the Dutch military is joining Amsterdam's annual Gay Pride parade for the first time this year, with uniformed men and women saluting the crowds from a boat chugging through the city's canals.
Unlike the United States military, gays have openly served in Dutch units since 1974, and have had a department within the Defense Ministry minding their interests for 25 years.
