Carson Kressley Gets Makeover Show On Oprah's OWN
PUBLISHED: OCTOBER 30, 2010
Gay celebrity Carson Kressley has signed up for a second show on Oprah Winfrey's upcoming OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) network,
Nikki Finke's Deadline Hollywood reported.
At the network's January 1 launch, Kressley will be seen co-hosting
Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star.
In March, the former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy “fashion savant”
will return to his makeover roots with a similarly themed show,
Carson-Nation.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition creator and executive producer
Tom Forman is behind the reality show, which will feature the ABC
True Beauty season 2 judge traveling around the country “to makeover
America one town at [a] time and to make people's live better.”
Kressley will be joined at the network by at least one additional openly gay personality, former Iron Chef Cat Cora.
Cora is expected to helm a reality show that will feature the celebrity
chef helping families whose eating habits have fallen prey to a busy lifestyle.
Cora will help the families balance their busy schedules with healthy eating.
