Sherry Vine Goes Gaga For Gaga (Again!) With "Make Me Moan"

With the same fevered anticipation that led up to the premier of Lady Gaga's video for "Telephone," fans of Sherry Vine (both of them!) waited in Barracuda’sback lounge for the drag dolly's spoof version, "Make Me Moan." Vine, of course, made the bitches sit through her whole show before premiering the clip—which worked out well because her regular set had the room roaring (video below). Well, it was worth the wait: The eight-minute video featured so many laughs and cameos—including Peppermint as Beyoncé "Honey Bee" Knowles—we may not be able to fully describe it in words. (You can watch it for yourself below). There to take in the show were Raven O, Jane Lane, Zoe Murphy, Yuhua Hamasaki and many other "Make Me Moan" stars.

“I’m a freak. I have the Carrie syndrome where I’m sitting there waiting for the bucket of blood to come down. In my mind no one was going to laugh,” confessed Vine after the screening, before getting a li'l more serious. “I’ve been very lucky that here in New York I know so many talented people and [can] network and collaborate with them to build things. The hair people were genius, Felicity Stardust did the props. At one point there were 30 homos in my little apartment. It was hysterical and it worked out fine. It was a gift. Everyone turned it out!” With a little help from her friends, Vine's latest music parody could match the two million YouTube hits she got for her last Gaga send-up, "Shit My Pants."–Christopher Dilley
