Personal and Verifiable (Part 1 series)

I just got home from an appointment with my Health Care Provider. It used to be called your family Doctor.
In the United particularly in the big cities, new candidates getting their doctorate are choosing specialties. They tend to pay more for visits.
After the expense of 6-8 years of University and medical school, thinking better pay is more appealing than being caged in a field in which you might have to refer a lot of your patients to specialists in the area in which the patient locates his problem. In those cases, the specialist is getting the money on his patients.
There is something that is not new but it grew during the AIDS epidemic and then the Covid-19. These were very demanding medical problems that needed a to of medical staff. The field, meaning hospitals and clinics became short of Doctors and the doctors they had were charging lost more because of more hours and less personal time. This calls for less schooling. This e. group could not be called doctors but since Nurses have always been the hands of Doctors who writes prescription and help the patient see the Doctors in an orderly way. So what if Some of those nurses did some medical school but had not obtained the certification as a Doctor, what you call a nurse assistant, and who gave him according to the stage the same responsibility as a doctor. You pay them less because you are not a doctor and they do basically the same thing. The trick was that they had to be supervised by a doctor. A doctor might not even see their patients only the paperwork on the computer. As far as I know in New York two N.A. (nurses assistants per doctor. Most people don't even know they are paying for a doctor but getting a nurse. They don't have to tell the patient. Most patients call them doctors and many of them would say 'Just Call me Scott" The NA was not being extra friendly but protecting from anybody saying he was passing for a doctor.
I will continue this story because it has been developing for years. Today was my last visit to a place I knew a lot about its foundation. I saw relief in the NA and I was thanked and tried to convince myself it was doing the right thing if I had not made a plan and had things already working The reputation of protecting the meds I was taking meant keeping my health in spite of the NA and the Clinic who now had hired a CEO who had a Doctorate in business Administration. Back then this place's reputation and care were impeccable. I had to wait a couple of months to get the Doctor I wanted which in my mind had to be gay, male, and a Doctor. That was 2002- 2003. Today was the last day. I will take you into my story without breaking any taboo laws but I will change the names to protect both the guilty and innocent. However, the clinic name will be at the end. Only fair to you the reader.
I will Continue. this story is every week in chapers (haven't figured out how many). The addition to this will be added every weekend latest by Tuesday. If time allows I will speed it up, but I get a minimum of 80-100 messages and emails a day and the news about what is going on is not being given the place in the news that it should, those stories I pick up
I will see you soon. This is Adam Gonzalez (real name), publisher and writer of this blog.
