Gay Media is Disappearing Not Because Lack of Readers But of Backing Up

South Florida Gay News Shuts Down. A state that had become gay friendly is now the opposite with a woke governor openly against LGBT and for the first time except in Russia that a Republican legislature passed a law openly against talking about gays in school and thousands of books being banned not just in schools but in libraries and any outfit in which it depends on a license by the state of Florida. As the years go by and I struggle to keep this media blog alive with current news affecting the gay community whether 100% LGBT or affecting the geo-political world in which we all live. As most of us know, the leading media regardless of state or country is biased against our community.  We have depended on the gay media to let us know what is going on that others won't tell us or would tell the straight world in a way not reflecting the way stories really evolved. This is whether paramedics refused to give help to a man lying on the street after they saw he was wearing panties (he was trans). Or, a Couple gets beaten up in New York City's busy street intersection which was televised and written by the primary papers as the couple being beaten up said something to the guy who beat them up to start the"fight". It was not a fight it was an attack. If I start recollecting stories that made me start this blog I will have no room for anything else. 

Both of these stories were years ago but the same bias has never gone away. Nothing stays the same forever and we find ourselves in similar battles we fought two decades ago. Every time I see another gay outfit shutting down I think I'm next but have stayed on since 2008-09 because of no salaries and steady readership. I don't think these outfits could continue because they depended on people that needed the salaries to pay for their lives.
