Page2 from "Americans are Dumb"

From the page:  https://adamfoxie.blogspot.com/2022/10/americans-smartest-or-dumbest-who.html                  This is Page 2, comments from readers

On Jan.6 2021 Trump incite his supporters to meet him at the Capital. He di wanted to go because he had everything planned with his supporters in the government ie: Secret service SS. At the capital he would go in and would have his supporters in the senate name him winner of the election. What a big head some say but it almost work. No he would have not been president but thousands would have die in law enforcement fighting his supoorters.

I had to bring the comments to an additional page. Cut and paste do not work too well
on this domain particularly since I just re-did the domain as an upgrade to the pages and check the security which is Google's and Ithe this domain or blog pays for it.. Never had a problem in 15 yrs except for a denial of service attack by two nations that now are with the most amount of readers internationally.
The posting from two days ago is here. I felt honored. aF

Is anyone else dumbfounded that so many Americans still support Trump?

yes I am and heartbroken. My older brother, who I idolized when I was growing up, has fallen off the deep end. A lot has to do with his wife, who is a true crazy. She already belongs to one religious cult so joining another was easy for her. However, I didn't realize how bad it was until she posted on Facebook asking if anyone knew a good source for information since Fox News wasn't politically right enough for her. She was told about Newsmax and OAN and she was happy with them. It surprised me a little because she never allowed any TV that wasn't involved with her religion in their home. My … (more)

Not at all. I live with two die-hard trump supporting GQPers who truly think they aren’t like the Capitol rioters. They listen to bigoted right-wing “news” (read: filth, sh-tty garbage, trash) all day, and refuse to get their information from any other sources, and they think they’re nothing like the rest of the GQP

Expect they absolutely are, and I as a black woman no longer feel safe living or being around them.

They can’t understand why I’m moving out despite me telling them multiple times how much their rhetoric hurts me. I can’t convince them that the Donald trump doll they keep like a shri… (more)

It speaks to the lack of moral conscientiousness that exist in this country. Trump is dangerous, and his supporters, equally so. I hope we will not be motivated by fear, not to prosecute Trump for his crimes. If the Jan. 6 group had been people of color, we’d still be cleaning the blood off the capitol steps. Trump is responsible for an attempted coup, the destruction of government property, the death of those killed on Jan. 6. Just to think he could run again, Holy Shit!

Yes, I find it terrifying that there are that many stupid people in this country and that too many of them are in Congress.

Not anymore, at the beginning I almost believed his flimflam spur of the moment exaggerations to get our attention, but when he promised to build a “beautiful, beautiful border wall like we’ve never seen before and that Mexico would pay for it” I immediately knew that he was conning his way into politics; then he started claiming that he was a self-made billionaire, although Daddy gave him millions of dollars to get him started and then he also inherited most of his fortune; but it doesn’t stop him from asking for unending donations.

But I digress, Mark Twain said: Its easier to fool people, th… (more)

I will never understand how anyone ever supported Trump. It is even more baffling that so many of his supporters still support him. The man tried to illegally overturn an election. That is a fact. Regardless of what you think happened in the election, we are a nation of laws. Trump had every right to every legal challenge he could think of but when the courts ruled, that is supposed to be the end of it.

To top it off, Trump didn't accomplish that much. I know that the Trump administration has a list of accomplishments that his supporters post all the time but most of those accomplishments Trump… (more)

I honestly was surprised. I always knew there were plenty of undereducated and plenty of racists in America that could easily be convinced by what is basically a copy of Hilter’s marketing slogan. I just never thought it amounted to about one third of Americans. I also never foresaw that so many otherwise honorable conservatives would go along with Trump just to get what they want. Those people really surprised me because I thought they had at least some dignity / morals.

Yes, it’s terrible, but I do know why. They eroded education for more than 30 years. They ensured government was ineffective. They ensured no one really understands how it all works, so they can lie and lie, and the people believe them. Most voters who vote against their best interest simply have no clue how it works. Also, the “leaders” aren’t dumb like so many want to believe. They know how to market to their audience and get them riled up to do their dirty deeds. They know how to use the Democrats’ morality against them too. It’s unfortunate seeing it all go down. I had thought the fascists… (more)

Absolutely not! The US is now one of the dumbest countries on the planet - 75M assholes voted for Clusterfuck 45 after all the shit that he pulled while POTUS! HTF do you do that? WTF did he ever do FOR the country as a “positive”? It’s just mind-boggling! He’s anti-Democracy, he’s anti press - everything that he doesn’t like is “fake news” - KellyAnne Conway came out with her famous “alternative facts” - he gets us into a trade war with China, which killed our farmers so much that the fed gov had to bail them out - his Southern border was a total disaster, separating children from their families where, even today, a lot of children remain separated from their families - how can you possibly do that, and on top of that, how can you not keep track of them so that one day they can in fact be re-united with their families - he clearly had ties to Russia - even DJTJ and Eric said that they get their funding from Russia - he took the word of Pooty over our intel community that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election - he tried to extort Ukraine by holding back weapons unless Ukraine gave him intel on Biden - impeached twice - there have only been four impeachments of POTUS in US history and 2 of the 4 belong to him - he is the only POTUS to ever refuse to peacefully transfer power and then he orchestrates an overthrow of the election so that he can be POTUS for life - the list goes on and on, and these assholes voted for this guy and still support him?????

I had a friend who actually lives in the NYC area, so he should have known what was Trump was like, just like I did as I am also originally from the NYC area. The difference was that he is a die-hard Republican, whereas I realized that we have a binary election system in the US - you either vote for A or B - there really are no other choices - if you vote for one of the minor candidates, you’re just wasting your vote or causing a problem for one of the A or B candidates, so I voted for HRC because there was no way I could ever vote for Trump. I didn’t particularly like HRC but she was eminently qualified, and was 1M times better than Trump. But my friend, to quote him, said that he “…..could never vote for Monica Lewinsky’s boyfriend’s wife!” And, that my friends, is how fucking stupid Republicans vote! And we have paid the price for it - in spades!

I have another friend in Texas - another die-hard Republican - and in obviously one of the worst red states - and right after SCOTUS overturned Roe, my friend was up in arms - “I can’t believe that they did that! WTF are women supposed to do now? Go back to the way it was in the 60s?” BUT - when asked who he/she would vote for in any election, any year, my friend said he/she would definitely vote R! Go figure! You cannot stamp out stupidity! Impossible!
