Getting into politics when you had the first President with a serious alcohol problem and a liver on its last legs.
An opportunist and a product of the Soviets he had nothing to loose to take charge when he could since the Soviets thought that the masses were going to come for them for their crimes, killings and putting people in jail for political crimes. or no crimes.. All these communists thought it was their time to pay, with their lives. Lots of them ran away with the fortunes they had stolen but this guy who had not much of anything decided to be the face with the help of Yeltsin to be the faces of the new country. Yeltsin was a drunk and who could he appoint whom ever he wanted to be swho urvived him. Not he Vice President. He choose someone from the USSR and thats how a cabdriver and then low rank KGB originally got to the palace.Where was he was going to go except now he was under the arms of a drunk President.
The first thing he did was divorced his wife who was too fat for him and be the masculine leader he thought the now Russia republic needed. He has not gotten married and people could swear he and the Vice President he handpicked were together in tother places other than a desk together.
A nobody, just like Tump gets the power of a big nation and he fixed everything with his name and no predecessor.
President Clinton who had and has not a single bone of decency or knowing what is wrong or wright on mot things and right. Someone who torpedoed his own wife campaign whom he wold not been president without her, he torpedoed her own campaign by being himself. Since it was not him running why not do what ever popped in his mind to do like to meet the Attorney General in a jet at the airport and then say he just wanted to asked for her grandchild when she was investigating his wife. There was nothing crooked but it did not looked that way and in politics the truth sometimes does not matter but it takes a back seat to innuendo and the Fox evening news.
Maybe that is why Putin is bringing war to Ukraine and maybe is to keep himself relevant in the world community. Not the people of Russia. They have a long history and a big country. Nobody is going to go invade Russia. The idea is comical but Putin thinks all the nations he can invade could invade Russia and he needs to annex them. He might be following the United Kingdom Book from the last century.But at least the UK has real royalty.
Some people (Trump) cannot deal with having power...it seems Trump and Putin are two of them.

A los agentes de la KGB se les instruye a que mantengan la mano derecha cerca del pecho y que caminen de lado, para que puedan sacar el arma lo mĂ¡s rĂ¡pido posible en caso de que se enfrenten con un enemigo.
