Conspiracy Theorist Are Good in Exploring Holes But R Not Able To See The Craters

Reality check: do you think Michigan counties would certify election results where there were more votes than registered voters? Of course not.

The question, however, is one that has an answer, a rather simple one:

The Michigan Secretary of State website shows that 5,538,211 people voted for president in 2020, not 8.1 million[1]and for what it’s worth, there are 8,061,525 registered voters in Michigan, not 7.8.[2]

5,538,211 < 8,061,525.

[Aside: Psychologists say that people who are prone to believe in conspiracy theories are good at finding patterns and connections and very poor at recognizing when they are nonsense. This is a prime example. No one who has a normal ability to recognize nonsense would think that any government, court or political party would let something like more votes than voters just slide. It would never happen, yet there are people who don’t blink when they see it claimed. The same could be said for the widespread belief among some people that the mainstream media lies and makes stuff up, that Joe Biden has advanced dementia, masks make you more vulnerable to catching infections, the Moon landing was a hoax or that the government could keep a secret like space alien bodies in Area 51.]

Update:

This question has become a magnet for off topic conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, rather than the topic of the vote count in Michigan. I am, therefore closing comments and deleting the more recent comments that doesn’t deal with the Michigan vote count.
