The Koch bros are Creating an Alternative FaceNook for the Anti gay, Crazy and Misinformed Called }“THEMIS”

Do you get worked up over right-wing conspiracies? You’ll want to read on, then. The billionaire Koch brothers are launching a database for others of the right-wing, anti-government mentality. If things work out, millions of  people will be included.

The Koch brothers have been accused of funding the Tea Party, and they’re well-known for their connections to right-wing leaders as well as candidates like Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann.

Now they’re going all social media on us.

A voter file that will become the database was set up a year and a half ago, says The Guardian, with $2.5 million to start. The Koch brothers have around $25 billion each, so funding won’t be much of a problem. The database will be called “Themus,” after the Greek goddess of divine order. Of course.

Though the project is apparently amping up its speed, we don’t know much else. No one does. Because it’s highly secretive, of course. From what it sounds like, it’ll be some sort of online social network-like database. Best case scenario: it turns into a libertarian dating site! Worst case scenario: the Koch brothers compile information about millions of Americans and take ove the country.

We’ll have to wait for the 2012 election to see how Themis gets put to use.
