Google Can Now See You Silly Facebook Comments

Think hard, because this is important: Have you ever called anyone a moronic sack of monkey pus in a Facebook-powered web comment? Because Google has just begun indexing those comments for the first time. In other words, your troll resumé just merged with your Google persona. How exciting.

Facebook comments weren't traditionally visible to Google when placed on non-Facebook sites, like blogs, because they were attached to web pages using JavaScript. But Google has begun rendering said JavaScript and thus sucking the comments into its index, according to Digital Inspiration. The indexing only affects comments left on non-Facebook sites using your Facebook account, not comments on Facebook proper. So hopefully you've been perfectly civilized and consistently intelligent sounding when reacting to things on the internet. That ishow we all react to things on the internet, right?
