Jennifer Hudson, who finished sixth when she competed in the third season of American Idol, has gone on to become the most accomplished alumnus of the talent competition.

She won the Academy Award and just about every other showbiz award for her searing performance as Effie in the feature film version of Dreamgirls and since then has enjoyed success with hit albums and roles in other films including playing Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant in the first Sex and the Citymovie.
