James Morrison Says JLS/The XFactor Can't Sing

James Morrison is not the first and won’t be the last to slam talent shows.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the 27-year-old singer-songwriter admitted he is not a fan of The X Factor or JLS.

"That show sends out the message that you can be famous for doing f**k all and that you can succeed even if you're not a good singer.

"JLS are the worst singers I've ever heard. I've heard their raw vocals in the studio and they just cannot sing, yet they've had multi-million selling albums."

He added: "That's a weird message to give kids. People need to keep believing in real music, yet these X Factor idiots are on the radio and that's a downward spiral."

James Morrison releases his third album The Awakening on September 26.
