Gay, lesbian St. Louisans to marry in Iowa
A dozen gay and lesbian couples from the St. Louis area will be married in Iowa on Friday.
A dozen gay and lesbian couples from the St. Louis area will be married in Iowa later today.
The couples boarded the Show Me Marriage Equity Bus in St. Louis and will arrive in Iowa City around 11:00 a.m. They will then pick up their marriage licenses and go to the Unitarian Church of Iowa City for the ceremonies. A private wedding reception for the group will follow. The newlyweds will return to St. Louis tonight.
