ACORN 'Pimp' Pleads Guilty
No one ever said that pimpin’ was easy: James O’Keefe,
the conservative activist and ACORN “pimp,” has pleaded
guilty to misdemeanor charges of entering federal property
under false pretenses. O’Keefe was arrested in January for
trying to take video of two of his colleagues in Senator
Mary Landrieu’s office. His two colleagues were posing as
telephone repairmen in what they say was an attempt to
investigate complaints of health-care opponents that they could not get through.
He was sentenced to three years probation, 100 hours of community service, and a $1,500 fine.
