Hope fades for a quick end to the manhunt after an F.B.I. backtrack.

Hopes for the fast capture of the person who fatally shot the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk in Utah evaporated on Wednesday when Kash Patel, the F.B.I. director, announced that the authorities had released a man he had described as a central subject of a multiagency manhunt.
“The subject in custody has been released after an interrogation by law enforcement,” Mr. Patel wrote on his X account, adding: “our investigation continues.”
ICE got the wrong guy wasting hours of interrogations and going back to a cold trail. They got the rifle but if the shooter planned it right it should not say much. Maybe he is learn what went wrong with other shooter which got caught right away.
Its so sad to hear the buddy of Kirk preach, The Donald Trump, about the values of live and let live and letting others with different opinions be. Laughable if it wasn't we are talking about someone getting shot and killed. The guy that preach about the right of people to have rifles and other weapons which cannot be use for defense to just to kill, he himself got cut down with one of the same rifles he liked for people to have.
