I wonder how someone with even a basic education can believe anything Trump says when he does not know the subjects he talks about. Let's say, the last subject I read and he directed was NATO. If you follow what he said he has no idea of what NATO is.

For instance, there are no payments to enter NATO or to keep membership.

Another example is that he does not know, and neither does Tucker Carlson together with Putin, they do not know that NATO is a defensive organization and NATO can not declare war on any country.  Then why does Trump keep asking for payment? Embarrassing and no one dare explain it to him. They rather like Trump fighting for something whatever it is even if it doesn't exist because the people around Trump are based on that same lie of nothing.

Countries wishing to join this defensive alliance have to submit it to their parliament, congress legislature, etc. It must be approved and voted on. Not the way people vote in Russia but really openly voting to be part of the alliance They have to approve the rules of the organization which are for the democratic countries. NATO requires elections and does not have the power to choose any leader. We see this with Hungary. The electorate voted for a neo-conservative leader who seems to rotate towards Putin. He tends to go in opposition to many important decisions that this organization has approved in a unanimous way like the acceptance of new members. Hungary originally opposed just like Turkey the acceptance of Two Nordic Nations. bordering Russia. You see before someone is accepted every member has to accept by passing legislation acceptance with NATO and its treaties. 

Well, one of the reasons Nations want to join is usually economic but in this times is mostly for defense. 

The Nordic Nations were concerned Putin would try to swallow them like they are trying with Ukraine. The nations in the alliance have the most powerful weapon in their defense arsenal which is Article 5. It says that any nation attacked by another has the right to invoke this Article and then every nation member has the responsibility to defend this nation. This is the only time NATO will go to war and it will be to defend a member. Had NATO given Ukraine the membership they asked for, Putin would not be there having them be invaded. But NATO screwed up and NATO knows it. History will judge them on it. When Russia took Crimea from Ukraine that would have been the perfect time to give Ukraine membership. But they found excuses not to do it. But remember every nation had to approve, But they could have put it for the vote and see if Ukraine was approved but no such thing instead they claimed Ukraine needed to be more on par with NATO countries. Ukraine is more on par, as democracies go than Turkey and now Hungary. The military systems they said had to be like the other nations in NATO. But Germany's main weapon has ticked to not be 100% NATO. But for Ukraine, perfection was the dish of the day. Everything Ukraine needed to have could have been given on Lend-lease. Ukraine with their democratic governments and their reforms would have been the most stronger NATO member bordering Putin. An opportunity missed.

NATO asks the members to contribute to their own security. To be fair and not to have everyone riding on top of the more well-to-do nations. Nations do not pay NATO but themselves. NATO asks that at least 2% of the nation's GDP be set aside for defense. Not for Trump to collect!

Now maybe Trump or Tucker Carlson could explain where it says, anyone in NATO has to pay?  I think that in his own convoluted brain, Trump thought that NATO is supposed to collect fees which then will go to the US President, meaning him. If you know Trump you know that the only thing that moves this man is money because money is power. What else would a bald, morbidly obese 80-year-old man who has failed in everything he has pursued in life want? Power. School, Father, Marriage, Business he drove into the ground, AND his nation. Yes, even his getting the Presidency for four years was a failure. According to him, he wanted more and He did not mean 8 yrs. He meant for life, like Putin and he has said as much.. Ask him...

Every other subject he approaches he gives his explanation which simply does not make sense, but not in Religion and not in Geopolitics.

I remember when the nation of Montenegro joined NATO. At their first meeting, they were introduced to all the members and Trump was there. He could not understand why Monte Negro would be together with the bigger nations. They had everyone standing by height for the camera. When I was at the managers' Conference, at the end they would stand us up on a staircase. The taller ones would be in the back and shorter in the front. Everybody understood. But Mr. Trump in an International forum in which he is representing the US did not understand. On camera you see Trump complaining and pointing to the Monte Negro President. He could not stand it anymore that this president was in front of him. Why? He was shorter, and Trump was taller. So Trump took this man and moved him out of the way and took his spot. Everyone looked and some smiled in confusion or smirked in the you go US showing what is behind your Eagle, but this was an indication of NATO years with this man. By the way, he thinks that the President can Kick out NATO. Nato came in through legislation of the leaders in a democracy and that is the way it gets ended. Still, a President in the us has more powers than most Americans know.

I thought I give you a few very simple examples and anyone would have the mental capacity to know how to behave. Presidents of the US have an unlimited amount of people who know the history and know the protocols of how things are done. So What's up with Trump? He does not know but he is stubborn enough he cannot stand someone telling him how to behave. It's that simple. So he wings it and because he thinks he is so important, you know like a king, then Trump does what he wants and it automatically became a law or Protocol for people to follow ever after.

Im sure there are people like that where you work. Ive met many. But none were elected to be President. I don't even have a problem with Trump. I have a problem with those weaklings who do what he says and those too lazy to learn the protocol or the law elect Trump to teach them from his miscalculation mind.

By the way, Trump is the same way. When he makes a speech is all made up. In his case he is dealing with dumb Russians just like in Trump's case, What type of Americans follow Trump? The one that doesn't know. The ones that know but would like a civil war in which they don't have to fight but would end up on a higher step just like Trump thought with Monte Negro.
