In a Few Words(500 or less), Where Does Pete Buttigieg Stands on The Issues?
If elected, Pete Buttigieg — the 37-year-old mayor of South Bend, Indiana — would be the youngest U.S. president ever. He also would be the first openly gay president in the nation's history.
The two most exciting of his positions with the most long term change and benefit for now and generations to come, is to increase the number of Justices in the Supreme Court to avoid the problems we have had in the past of just having a case won or lost by just one justice and in case of death or retirement we have the equal number and you the disparity that causes in which the case has to go back to the appeals court. Many Republicans would like to decrease the number of justices, do you wonder why? Many believe the smaller states tend to be republican, politics first then the nation!
Also voiding the Electoral College system that gave us Trump and the crazy situation that a candidate that has a clear majority of votes, by the millions will lose because of the college vote. It gives the states with the smaller population more say than the state with a bigger population. Not equal but more and not fair. (Adam)
