New Gay Site Opens in Russia

The following is an except from a page from Russia’s new gay website Out4russia.org :

Out4Russia is the campaign calling for the protection of Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Trans people living in Russia following the rise of homophobic and transphobic attacks by both individuals and the state.

Out4Russia is the sister campaign to the highly influential and successful Out4Marriage & LobbyALord campaign that delivered equal marriage rights in England & Wales and continues to fight for these rights globally.

James-J Walsh is Director of Campaigns for Out4Russia and a founding member of the movement. Having previously worked on the Out4Marriage/LobbyALord campaigns he's now supporting the work of Out4Russia in delivering fundamental human rights to Russias LGBT Community.

Benjamin Cohen founded the Out4Marriage campaign for marriage equality in the United Kingdom which features politicians, religious leaders and celebrities explaining on YouTube videos why they support changing the law to allow LGBT couples to marry. He remains an integral part of the Out4Russia movement. Alongside this Benjamin is the owner of PinkNews.co.uk, a dot.com entrepreneur, and a broadcast journalist in his own right.
