18 Year Old Kills His Boyfriend by Knifing Him 5 Times
Tarence Mitchell is 18 years old and a High School Captain in the City of Bloomfield, Connecticut. Currently he is being held on a $1Million bond for allegedly knifing with a kitchen knife his boy friend of two years, 27 year old Ronald Taylor.
Tarence Mitchell told the police that Ronald was very jealous and possessive of him. He said his boyfriend tried to keep him interested with pot and alcohol. He said Ronald was jealous of both girls and guys and would get angry if Tarence would text even girls. He got so angry according to Tarence that at one time he outed Tarence on Facebook by posting his picture and blogging awful things about Tarence who works as High school Captain.
On Thursday, Taylor told Mitchell he was coming over. Mitchell said he stuck a knife in his pocket in case he needed to protect himself, the papers said. Mitchell said the attack began when Taylor struck him in the face; Mitchell then stabbed Taylor five times with the knife, which remained in Taylor’s back until he pulled it out himself, the papers said.
It’s amazing on crimes of passion that one shot or one knife or punch is never enough. Once those emotions come out is like an atomic blast that destroys not just injures.
According to court documents, the 18-year-old Mitchell initially told investigators that the pair was attacked by two men wearing hoodies but later confessed to the crime.
As I look at this story and see that once someone takes a weapon, be a knife, gun or baseball bat to defend one selves it usually is either used against the person carrying it or the other for which the weapon was being brought for so called protection. It would have been better to to get a black eye or even broken arm and not have to take someone else’s life for no good reason and then spent most of your life behind bars.
If we all thought about consequences how many bad situations we would avoid. But human nature is something that has to be control in all aspects, wether is eating, driving or loving and hating. If controls are not in place on our behavior others together with us will pay the price.
It’s so sad to listen to Mitchell’s mother who expressed her condolences to Taylor’s family but said the charges didn’t mesh with what she knew of her son.
“My son is a good kid. He’s never been in trouble,” Tyra Smith said, her voice breaking. “My son is not a murderer.”
Our mom’s with never see the bad in us just like in this case with Mitchell’s mothers doesn’t see her son as a murderer but the truth is a young guy of 27 died with a knife stuck in his back after being pulled and stuck again and again for five times.
