Daniel Radcliffe opens up in the November issue ofFlaunt about what is was like to play a gay man in the upcoming Allen Ginsberg movieKill Your Darlings.
The actor, who portrays Ginsberg as he falls in love with Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan), tells the magazine, “I don’t think there’s any difference between how one falls in love. People express love differently, person to person, but it’s not gender or sexuality related. The only difference it made was obviously the actual sex scene, of course.”

In the movie, Radlcliffe loses his virginity to a stranger after being rejected by Carr.
Asked about the sex scene, the Harry Potter star shares, “I was talked through it by the director [John Krokidas]. He would be telling me what I would be feeling in each take. Basically, gay sex, especially for the first time, is really f**king painful.”
“And [Krokidas] said that he had never seen that portrayed accurately on film before. He wanted it to look like an authentic loss of virginity,” adds Radcliffe.
Kill Your Darlings hits theaters on October 18.

It is expected that thousands upon thousands will volunteer for poor Daniel on how gay sex can be wao! but not out of pain. Pain is for a few virgins. Having said that there are others that will volunteer to teach him to have sex with pain. Having learnt to incorporate the two together but having pleasure come on top. Daniel is a good ally of us but this particular statement puts doubts on my mind about his sexual orientation. How can you say something is painful if you haven’t tried, at least on your mind. He better learn to close his mouth in certain occasions or something he doesn’t want to say might come in and out to the public.
