Girls Found Shot one Dies Other ICU } Was it Hate Crime?
Many have assumed that the shooting of the two girl lovers is been a hate crime. When such an incident happens that involves gay and lesbians, that’s usually the case. The gay community know it first hand. In this case the jury still out until the police gets more information.
Police along the Texas Gulf Coast are trying to figure out who shot two teenage girls in a park, killing one of them.
A couple found the 18-year-old and 19-year-old girls at a nature area in Portland, just north of Corpus Chrisiti, on Saturday. Officers say both had been shot in the head. One died and the other is hospitalized in serious condition after surgery.
Police say it appears a "third party" shot the girls.
Friends say the girls were in a relationship, but police do not know if that played a role in the shootings. The survivor’s girls brother appeared on tv to say that his sisters is getting better even though she still in the IC Unit of the hospital. We also don’t know what are the implications of the injury for the long term.
