It claimed that he was rushed to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after a medical emergency. The nature of the medical emergency wasn't specified. However, the claims have been proven FALSE. Here's what happened:
The viral claim surfaced about Trump’s supposed medical emergency immediately after the White House imposed a press “lid” at 11:08 a.m. ET. A post on X claimed that Trump had been transported to Walter Reed Hospital, without citing official sources. The post also claimed that roads around the hospital were closed. ‘Press lids’ are routine pauses but it is often misread for potential emergencies. Moreover, the claim also shared a video of Trump's cavalcade being taken to hospital. Grok added a note saying it was an old video of Trump being taken to hospital in Pennsylvania after being shot in July 2024
