I saw this article on the local news and once I saw Secret Service and EBT I knew something was wrong.
The Secret Service is paid through the Treasury Dept. They provide security for the Presidents and dignitaries visiting the US. They also investigate money forgeries in which nations and individuals duplicate the currency. The individuals to make a profit, the nations which would be North Korea, China and Russia, they want to hurt the economy of the US by flooding the market with Phoney money. Now they are going for the food stamps.
If that makes sense to you, well bless your good heart. I have a good heart and it does not make sense for the Secret service to be involved in what the local media Called "A Massive Operation" Of coarse it had to be massive. Arrests? 0 Money Saved? 0 To whom? There is no answer. Some one threw a figure of how much they are saving which was so ridiculous I didn't print it but it was in. the Billions.. They love the Billion and Trillion words they throw it all the time,But I don't believe any numbers coming from this administration. Just like one day there were 150 thousand dead in Ukraine and the next day 500 thousand, then 1 million. and so forth. One day Ukraine was our allied and Russia our Proverbial enemy, the next week Ukraine started the war to killed its own soldiers, woman and children. Trump said Ukraine started the war and that's why they were getting pummeled by Russia. "You don't start a fight with a guy many times bigger than you" A few weeks down the road it changed back and fourth.
I want that anything illegal with any of the cards be Medicaid or EBT. There are debts to Investigate them, Unless Trump with Elon fired them. He fired every investigating body in Washington DC. DSo its possible there was nobody to investigate even though federal courts have been reversing some of those actions but still;l if you get fired to day and you don't know if they going to keep you what would you do. I would collect my benefit, vacation, sickbays and "Adios Muchachos!" I would come back where Im not appreciate it.
Below I included what a very conservative paper published yesterday. I didn't re print all because I did not want to puke over my computer. I tend to know not all the time but most of the time when my chain is being pulled. That's how I felt when IO read this last night.

I post everyday about Washington, politics and anything g current that affect us as a nation and sometimes the world. I resented this publication just wrote whaat they was told and took it as gospel. I don't even take the gospels as gospels, I want back up, numbers, others confirming. I don't have fear of getting fired because I do this now without payment but donate my time and expertise. The Secret Service does not just protect the president of the United States; it also protects New Yorkers who are scammed when they swipe an electronic benefit card (EBT) at an unsuspecting device.Amnd They also do what they are ordered to do by the Chief executive
Freaney says the operation is placing an extra emphasis on busting those stealing money directly from those who need it most with EBT.
“Most people know us for the protection aspect, but we were formed to combat counterfeit currency for the Department of the Treasury. And what we’ve done since our beginning and currently is follow the money,” Freaney said. “It’s a message to the community that we see the fraud that’s going on with the SNAP benefits and EBT benefits. It’s also a message to the folks that are doing these crimes: People are coming for you.”

Called skimmers, crooks alter the machines so they immediately withdraw money from an EBT card when it is swiped, potentially stealing hundreds of dollars that a parent could need to purchase diapers and food for their children. Authorities say one group could have multiple devices running and draining cash at one time.
Unlike bank cards, it is not always so simple to alert EBT card theft as fraud, leaving the public without the money they desperately need.

On Wednesday, Operation Flagship focused on Brooklyn and Staten Island, with the coming days set to spread out further. However, Special Agent Michael Peck says this is not a local issue in the Big Apple but a massive problem they contend with across the country.
“Transnational organized crime groups are specifically targeting our benefits programs here to the tune of $18 billion a year,” Peck said. “These aren’t just dollars we’re losing. These are victims. These are vulnerable communities. It is the poor, the elderly. These are people who need this money to survive, and it’s being specifically targeted by these groups.”
Well we know how the Administration cares about poor people. That's is why they want to close these programs. Go find corruption and stealing everywhere so they could have the excuse they want.

Inside authorities had tracked that the business was using a EBT card reader despite not having a license to do so and were allegedly stealing the funds.

Agents from the Secret Service, the NYPD, and the USDA entered a bodega in Bushwick on Wednesday afternoon, located at 1173 Broadway. Inside, authorities had tracked that the business was using a EBT card reader despite not having a license to do so and were allegedly stealing the funds.
When confronted, the clerk denied knowing about the device despite it being in plain view on the front desk.
“Do you close your eyes when you use it?” one agent asked.
Those on the scene tested each card reader with an EBT card until they found the phony device and collected it for evidence. While no arrests were made, law enforcement says that they believe those running the store had knowledge of the skimmer, which could lead to charges in the future as the investigation progresses.
According to Detective Daniel Alessandrino of the NYPD’s Financial Crimes Task Force, the store was using a “clone device” connected to another business in the borough.
“This store was using a clone device, which is a device that is cloned that belongs to another store, so they could process these benefit EBT cards to steal the funds from actual victims,” Alessandrino said. “The reason they do that is so they can steal these benefit funds that are being provided to people who need the money the most.”
The store was using what they call a clone device that was connected to another business in the borough.

Throughout the May 21 operation, Flagship confiscated 14 devices, including three clone devices. Special Agent Freaney said that this is just the beginning, and they will continue to pursue justice for those who are being victimized.
“What you’re seeing today is people who are victimizing the most vulnerable in our community, stealing literally money that’s meant for the food that people are supposed to consume, stealing the food right out of their mouths,” Freaney said. “So for us, it has and always will be about following the money.”
