Generally, they sell the cards for CASH! I will NEVER condone any scammer, but we have learned through extensive research that many young Nigerians get into scamming just to survive because life in Nigeria is very tough, no jobs, no security, no hope to have a better life, and then there are those who come from upper-middle-class families that are college educated, extremely smart, but they're lazy, so these types scam just for the money, and they make tons of it, and they show off to others, who wind up getting involved in scamming, because it is so easy to scam vulnerable people in these “romance scams" because people are looking for LOVE, and when it comes to the heart, all common sense is lost! There are other “romance scammers from other countries, but Lagos, Nigeria where there are so many scammers,it gets the reputation for being the biggest romance scam country in the world. Other countries are catching up pretty quickly. Very sad, but true.

How do Facebook and other sites own by META give me the impression they like it. Why? They won't help you to report someone and the most you can do is block them. They used to give you the country's name of registration if it was outside the US but they stopped. Why? It worked. Someone tells you they are a Doctor in Texas and they registered the Account in Nigeria, well is nothing to say about that unless you ask the scammer why the discrepancy, then he will give you a nice lie that almost makes sense. No, you tell them you lied to me you are from Nigeria but tell me Texas. Hang up and block him. If he admits or uses bad language on you, now you can report him. At least they have to go steal another account. The pictures? They get recycled from state to state.
