Many important things happened during the vice presidential debate Wednesday night.

Points were made, questions ignored. But there was one moment that will go down in history* (*whatever end-of-year roundup late nights hosts slap together in December) and that is the two minutes during which a fly perched atop Vice President Mike Pence’s white hair. 

Twitter, of course, was buzzing (apologies).

Less than 24 hours later, of course, the meme has already turned into an already sold out promotional Biden/Harris fly swatter, multiple parody accounts and a Halloween costume.
