Pop star Christina Aguilera's ex-boyfriend didn't know what a girl wants.

The singer revealed on "RuPaul's Drag Race" after-show "Untucked" that the Latin lover she sings about on the 2002 song "Infatuation" was actually gay, according to People.

"It was heartbreaking because I found out he played for your team, not mine," Aguilera, 37, told RuPaul on the season premiere of "Untucked."

The song, off the "Stripped" album, focuses on forbidden love and obsession over the Latin lover.

A fellow competing contestant on "Drag Race" told her, "He's gonna see this, he's gonna be mad."
"I hope so, girl," Aguilera replied.

The "Genie in a Bottle" artist went on to talk about other men that were the subject of some of her songs, including the man who inspired the track "Fighter."

"Being taking advantage of (by the guy for whom I) created 'Fighter,' growing up in this business at a young age, you can just imagine being around older men a lot and dishonest people," she told the contestants. "And it's really hard."

She also discussed the song "F.U.S.S.," which has been revealed to stand for: "F--k you Scott Storch."
Aguilera called their relationship "a bridge that's been burned."

She revealed she's moved on without him musically.

The star ended her appearance by offering up some words of wisdom.

"Just keep living. I am so in awe and inspired by everything I'm seeing today," she said. "We all have come from some journey. I'm sure we've all had a painful place and a struggle or something. And I think that's really relevant. And that's a part of my music and a part of where I came from."
