Netflix is Bringing the Sex-Campy Funny Series ‘Wet Hot American Summer’
Netflix are pushing ahead with their plans to dominate TV, and their latest coup is an 8-episode prequel miniseries to the classic Wet Hot American Summer, with all the film’s stars apparently back for the new series.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp sees Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Meloni, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Ken Marino, Amy Poehler and more head back to Camp Firewood for a miniseries set on the first day of the same week as the film itself.
Most excitingly for some fans will be the news that both Bradley Cooper and Michael Ian Black are among the returning cast. The two shared a rather intimate scene in a tool shed together in the original movie that ended with the two of them in little more than tube socks – could the new show use the opportunity to reunite the pair?
