ESPN implies A Gay Player Not Taking a shower with Other Players is just Dandy

Michael Sam’s big kiss to his partner
ESPN is being outed as a team of “homophobes” for their latest coverage on Michael Sam that has little to do with football.

There is no surprise that having the first openly gay player in a professional sports league will draw the occasional headline, but as the St. Louis Rams training camp is firing on all cylinders, the worldwide leader in sports seemed to be fishing for much more.
When asked how well Sam was getting along with his teammates, Josina Anderson relayed information from an “anonymous teammate,” saying, “Sam is respecting our space and that from his perspective he seems to think that Michael Sam is waiting to kind of take a shower as to not make his teammates feel uncomfortable.
The Rams have actual issues to worry about. Their starting quarterback Sam Bradford is out for the season with a torn ACL. The entire year could be a wash…like a shower. Naturally, the much of the sports world felt the same way and ESPN’s name was drug through the mud on social media.

Scroll through the gallery below of the outrage the soapy news coverage generated starting with Rams’ defensive end, Chris Long.
