Gays Compared to Other human Beings and City asked for Pride Logo

After pride in New York City and major cities one thing that got very little attention was mayor Bill de Blasio’s  memo which asked all the city agencies to change their logo’s to incorporate the rainbow flag ahead of annual pride week.

Mayor Bill de Blasios office sent an email  prior to pride week to the  agencies telling them that the mayor, first lady and other city leaders would be celebrating Pride Week by changing their Twitter avatars to a new, rainbow-themed look — and  encouraged” them to do so as well,
The email went out to approximately 60 city agencies and departments, and included a logo that the agencies were encouraged to use, according to the mayor’s office. The mayors office said this was a way to make a big statement and I could not agree more.
This was something that was being asked of them to do not told.
It is not known how many agencies changed the logo but it is believed only a couple dozen did.
While many agencies used the NYC logo template(seen above) sent out by the mayor, others altered the design by adding their own logo over the pride flag, or made an entirely original design.
The office of  graphic designer worked with agencies to create graphics if they asked, but most agencies “had their own teams” that did the work themselves.
The following agencies did not change the logo and I think by the name of the agency and their reluctance to support the gay community or having a great amount of complaints from the community for the lack of services or amount homophobic complaints will be self evident:
NYPD’s official account, the Office of Emergency Management and the Administration for Children’s Services.
The  Department of Sanitation opted out of the Pride icon while the department is in mourning over the death of sanitation worker Steven Frosch ( don’t ask what thing is got with the other but we are dealing with an agency that’s always been homophobic and has the fewer number of out service members of all the city agencies).
These things will change as you have a mayor unlike all the others that believe that Gay New Yorkers as just like all the others New Yorkers and should be treated the same. Meanwhile while there still events like the Supreme Court in India. When the Indian Supreme Court recriminalized consensual sex between two adult men in December 2013 (it was de-criminalized by the Delhi High Court in 2009), it contrasted gay men with straight men with the wording as compared to normal human beings.”
India having believed that have the most amount of gays, not just because of visitor’s stories but being a high populated large country all you have to do is use the math and pick what ever percentage you want.
While you still have hate beatings and killings in the city we need that straight and gay New Yorkers know that the city government is fair and and will advocate for a minority that is been hounded, neatened and killed.
