HOmophobic Cee Lo Green Arrested on Felony for Spiking A Woman’s Drink

"The Voice" star Cee Lo Green was charged today with one felony count of furnishing a controlled substance, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

Green, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, "allegedly slipped ecstacy to a 33-year-old female while the two were dining at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant sometime between July 13 and July 14, 2012," the DA's office said in a statement.
Green, 39, and the woman later went back to her hotel, the statement added, but prosecutors declined to file a charge of rape, "citing insufficient evidence." The woman had previously accused Green of spiking her drink.
Cee Lo Green Charged With Giving Drug to Woman (ABC News)
I am so surprised that is taken so long for a woman to come forward. I mean let’s be serious, I know there is someone for every someone and all that. But when we are talking about this woman or any  good looking woman taken for drinks or even dinner to then go to bed with this fellow with his statue and looks, to find that person is not an easy feat.

To go further than that purely on physical attraction that would not be the case with this woman. An independent woman that does well on her own and  does not need a big star to pay her dinner to then bed her. Most people male or female would not mind him taking them for drinks or dinner, but it stops there.

What I am saying is that I believe this woman and this cannot be his first time, because things like this don’t happen in a vacuum.

In fairness to him he has pleaded not guilty and I have no information that could hold out as evidence in court that this is been going on. If it happened to someone else it’s on them to come fourth.
Going back to the official report:
In documents obtained by KABC, the 34-year-old victim is referred to as "Anna M."
Green pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Before this news, Green had been in good spirits. In an interview with ABC News Radio, he said he was flattered that so many fans were rooting for the singer to win this season on "The Voice," a reality singing competition where Green is a celebrity coach and mentor to young talent.
"So many people are rooting for me to win. I hear it from everybody, 'It's your year!'" he said. "You know, even the guy at the gas station, I'm like, 'Give me 50 on two,' and he's like, 'Here ya go, also it's your year!' So many people are married to this show, so it's great."
If convicted, Green faces up to four years in prison. He is due back in court on Nov. 20.
Green's manager could not be reached for comment.
