Gay West Point Cadets Take Their Male Dates to a Formal Night in NYC

Two gay West Point cadets accompanied their boyfriends to the military academy's formal winter dances in upstate New York last weekend.
A second-year student, who was not identified, posed for playful pictures with his tuxedo-clad date for a formal banquet as part of the Yearling Winter Weekend. Another cadet was also photographed arm and arm with his boyfriend for the dance held for third year students.
The same-sex dates come 16 months after the Pentagon repealed its ban on openly gay service.
