A nearby stylist assisted dressing Kellan in a variety of trousers, henley tops, and sweaters on the sand in 100-degree temperatures.

Lutz appeared to have shaved off the devilish goatee he was sporting at The Book of Mormon opening night party in Los Angeles and throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York.

Not seen today was his Australian girlfriend Sharni Vinson, whom the stud has has been dating for a year.

'Sharni's personality and mine very much complement each other, and we connect on every level,' Lutz told People Magazine at Heineken's U.S. Open Player Party in New York.

'She has a big personality so we have great conversations and laugh so much. I'm never fake with her, and it makes our relationship so easy. It's all about being honest.'

In the past Kellan, who's dated Ashley Greene and AnnaLynne McCord, used to pretend to be into bands he didn't like in order to impress women.
