Hugh Laurie is one of those lucky actors. He plays himself. An aging bad tempered spoiled asshole. So what is ask of him for his fans is to act and try to look like a human being. in events such as this. It seems he can’t do that well at all.

Hugh Laurie stormed out of his own film premiere - after the movie failed to start on time.
The actor, who is best known for the rude and ill-tempered House character, left unexpectedly with aides later blaming his ‘exhaustion’ for his premature departure.
The star also failed to turn up for an after show party for The Oranges.
Laurie, 53, got tired of waiting for the film to start at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York where the other stars, including Catherine Keener, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, had gathered for the premiere.
According to the New York Postthe start of the film was delayed while the stars posed for photos.
Before an introduction by director Julian Farino, Laurie left the building. Aides said he went to get something to eat and rest.
One guest told the Post Laurie ‘got tired of waiting and took off’.
A spokesman for Laurie later explained that the actor didn't leave because he was impatient but because he was exhausted from earlier promoting the film.
