With Carlos Moya now retired, Rafael Nadal has another man in his life.

His name is Marc Lopez.

I’m talking about his doubles partner! What did you think I meant? Oh yeah, I did do that silly post three years ago called Rafael Nadal and Carlos Moya: Their beautiful Spanish love story in picturesso I can see where you might get the idea that I was insinuating something!

Anyway, I had the pleasure of watching Rafa and Marc play a week ago in the first round of the doubles at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and they were so cute together. After they won their match, Rafa tried to get Marc to speak English to the crowd but he stuck to Spanish.

It’s clear that the two are very close friends.

They are also a winning pair. Not only are they in the semifinals of the tournament this year, but they won the title together in 2010.

I just wonder what Carlos thinks of all this!
