It Was GaGa’s Birthday

26 years ago on March 28, 1986, Lady Gaga was born this way in New York, NY. But the pop star celebrated her 26th birthday on the West Coast--and, by Gaga standards, it was a fairly chill celebration.
First on the agenda? A private spin class party at SoulCycle's West Hollywood location. "She requested [Bruce Springsteen's] 'Thunder Road' because it's one of her favorite songs," a source tells Us Weekly. "Her friends filled the studio, and they had a blast."
For her birthday dinner, Gaga skipped the L.A. hotspots and opted instead for a low-key meal with her parents. "It was just a small thing with her family," the insider shares. "Her mother cooked."

Considering the singer's round-the-clock rehearsal schedule, it comes as no surprise that she'd want to take it easy on her special day. "She's been ridiculously busy, and has been working herself very, very hard" a Gaga pal tells Us. "But everyone had the most amazing time [yesterday]!”

Little monsters, celebrate! It’s that time of year again — Lady Gaga‘s birthday.
At just age 26, the Mother Monster is already in line to be a music icon with a swag of awards. Her lyrics, outfits and performances have shocked — and dazzled — millions. Check out the gallery.
From her infamous meat dress to her male alter ego, Gaga, it seems, cannot be contained. But is she ready to be tamed?
In a recent interview, the “Born This Way” singer told Oprah Winfrey that she’s ready to have a family. Gaga, who is dating actor-model Taylor Kinney, revealed:
“I want kids. I want a soccer team, and I want a husband.”
She added that her fear in life is her level of fame, “The only that scares me, truthfully… I just want my family to be safe.”
