David Geffen } Billionaire His Boyfriend Separate After Six Years

Some people called him {Jeremy} But they were together for six year.  But it’s always a shame when a couple split up;  When you see age differences is not hard to deduct who initiated the break up. adamfoxie*

He has enjoyed a trip to the White House, a house in Malibu and jaunts with Hollywood stars.
But now after six years of a life he could only dream of, former California college student Jeremy Lingvall has finally split from his partner, billionaire media mogul David Geffen.
The pair have parted ways because ‘the relationship had simply run its course’, the New York Post reported.

During their six-year relationship Lingvall enjoyed a life of private planes, yachts, parties and mansions, not to mention courtside seats at Lakers games, left, and a trip to Corfu, right
A source also claimed that there was ‘nobody else involved’.
The decision to part ways brings down the curtain on one of the most talked about relationships in recent times, not least because of the 41-year age difference.
When they first started dating, Lingvall was met with a hostile reception among some gay commentators and blogs with claims that he was using Geffen as a ‘sugar daddy’.
On the face of it the criticism seemed justified - as the two could not be further apart.
Lingvall, 28, is a surfer and graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara, although on a social networking website he described it as ‘The University of Casual Sex and Booze’.

When not at home in Malibu Geffen and friends can be often be found cruising around the world on his 453-foot yacht Rising Sun, which the mogul bought from Larry Ellison
Just last year Geffen added to his maritime collection when he reportedly purchased one of Roman Abramovich's yachts, the 377-foot Pelorus, for $300million

On his Friendster profile he also bragged about ‘making hot girls swoon just to piss off straight guys’.
Geffen, 69 on Tuesday, is the 200th richest man in the world with a fortune of $5.5billion who worked his way up from the mail room of talent agency William Morris.
Once in Geffen’s life, however, Lingvall became a indispensable part of it - and accompanied him everywhere.
When Geffen went to the White House in 2009 to meet President Obama at his first state dinner, which was in honour of the Indian prime minister, Lingvall went with him.
In a sign some took at shameless self-promotion, Lingvall posted a photo of the occasion on his Facebook page taken at the moment he met the President in the White House garden.
On his now removed Facebook page Lingvall posted this photo of fun in the sun jumping off the Rising Sun

Eyebrows were also raised over other photos posted by Lingvall including a snaps from a trip he and Geffen took to China, and a shot of him wearing no top which showed off his muscly torso.
He and Geffen would also spend days on the latter’s two yachts including the 453-foot yacht ‘Rising Sun’ he bought from Oracle founder Larry Ellison in 2010.
The boat is the world’s eighth largest yacht and comes with 82 rooms on five decks, a gym with spa and sauna, a private cinema and a basketball court on the back.
Geffen also owns the 377-foot ‘Pelorus’ he bought from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovitch for a reported $300 million.
The Pelorus, or ‘vast’ in English, boasts two helicopter pads, a swimming pool, an owner’s suite with 180-degree panoramic views and a staff of around 40 on duty to cater to its owner’s whims.
Some of his enormous wealth came from Dreamworks, which Geffen co-founded in 1994 with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg
During one such jaunt Lingvall posted pictures of himself to show off to the world his new lifestyle.

He also did the same whilst taking trips on Geffen’s private planes.
Then there was the property empire which Lingvall had access to including his huge Malibu property, a $400 a night hotel at the resort and a $100million property in Los Angeles.
And on dozens of occasions Lingvall would have been invited to A-list celebrity parties he would have never been allowed in to on his own.
With no civil partnership or marriage to speak of, Lingvall will not be entitled to any of Geffen’s other riches now that they have split.
Geffen is known for his passion for art and supposedly has one of the best collections of post-war American art in the world.
In 2006 he sold two of his paintings for $143.5million, one by Jasper Johns and another by  De Kooning.
His wealth also comes from a stake in DreamWorks Studio which he founded with Steven Spielberg and has gone on to produce dozens of hit films.
Geffen founded Asylum and Geffen records and launched bands like Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith, though he sold out to MCA for $550million in 1990.
