Anti Gay Heckler Yelling at Gay Girls } Anti Gay Heckler Yelling at gay Girls Tackled by Gay Girls

lesbian tackles heckler, lesbian tackles anti-gay taunts, lesbian tackles anti-gay man, lesbian pins homophobe to the ground Picture from google.

Police in Bellingham, Wash., say a weekend reveler who yelled slurs at a lesbian couple, was thrown and pinned by one of the two women, then arrested and booked for malicious harassment, according to the Bellingham Herald, which first reported the story on Monday.
Officers responded to a call reporting a fight in downtown Bellingham at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, public information officer Mark Young told msnbc.com in a follow-up call.

When police arrived they were told that the suspect, William Adam Lane, 22, had confronted two women outside a bar early Sunday, yelling anti-gay slurs at them when he saw them embracing. The subjects attempted to ignore Lane--who is suspected of intoxication--Young said, citing the police report. Then then he smashed the rear window of a nearly Toyota that belong to one of the women, and was approaching them in an aggressive manner.
“One of the women threw him to the ground and pinned him,” said Young. “A local nightclub owner came out to help.”
Lane was booked into Whatcom County Jail on four counts including malicious harassment -- a hate crime and felony -- on $2000 bail. On Wednesday, he was no longer in the jail.
The women were not identified, and it was not clear whether they were pursuing charges.
Bellingham, a coastal city located 90 miles north of Seattle, has a permanent population of about 80,000, is home to Western Washington University — with about 15,000 students — as well as several smaller colleges.
It was unclear whether the women, ages 23 and 30, according to the Herald, would be pursuing charges. Young said the two were not hurt, but they could press assault charges because Lane allegedly acted in a threatening manner toward them.
Latest: According to the local paper the heckler got arrested for making threatening gestures. AF*

TE Quiero! ] Don’t Get 'Emotional we r British'

gay_kiss

Most people have experienced that awkward moment; you’ve been seeing each other for a while, dating, hanging-out, whatever you choose to call it. You more than like them, but saying you love them yet is guaranteed to make you both feel uncomfortable and perhaps stop you ever reaching the love stage. So what do you say instead?
The English language is a brilliant thing, allowing us to be as verbose as we wish with a smorgasbord of words to chose from (see what I did there) but when it comes to matters of the heart, our language is perhaps a little off the pace. Faced with that challenging moment of signing a birthday card to a boy I had been seeing for a while, I once found myself writing “I 75% you”. It went down reasonably well, but I have a feeling that was largely due to novelty.
If our amorous language is restricted as we feel around the subject, perhaps it’s time to look at other languages and cultures for guidance. Full-on, over-the-top declarations of love and affection just aren’t our thing and usually just end up in gabbled, ill-thought awkwardness: ‘I really like you, but not like really really like you, I don’t love you or anything. Honest’. Our reticence and sometime inability to emote sentiment effectively was perhaps captured best by Patricia Hodge in Miranda, ‘Don’t get emotional, we’re not Spanish’.
Appropriately though, the Spanish language has the answer. I was introduced to this magical phrase by a Colombian friend who told me all I needed was two words, te quiero. My rudimentary A-Level understanding of Spanish screamed at me that this meant ‘I love you’ and was surely a bit strong and bound to just get me in a whole host of trouble. Apparently, not so. The nuanced meaning of te quiero, I have been led to believe, is something far subtler, softer and more useful.
Don’t get emotional, we’re not Spanish”
Te quiero is perfect for that in-between stage, where you’re enjoying time together. You more than like them, you care about them and want to see more of them. A nice card-leveler that makes your feelings clear in a simple and direct way, not over blown but still sentimental enough to just be on the comfortable side of romance.
So next time you’re in that situation, but not quite ready to take the leap of faith and drop the L-bomb, remember te quiero. Granted, you might need to explain its definition slightly, but it gives you a great chance to subtly have that ‘so er, what are we actually doing here?’ conversation, seemingly as if it’s been brought up of its own accord.
If you’re currently thinking ‘I am NOT taking dating advice from a man who reduced love to a percentage’, don’t see it as advice from me, see it as advice from our Latin and Hispanic neighbours – who are far more renowned for the ease with which they negotiate matters of the heart than we Brits.

Kim Kardashian just dropped $65k to outbid a gang of serious jewelry nuts for 3 unbelievable jade and diamond bracelets that used to belong to Elizabeth Taylor ... TMZ has learned.

Taylor's entire collection of rare and expensive jewelry was auctioned off in NYC this week for a whopping $116 MILLION ... and Kim was one of the bidders.

Sources close to KK tell TMZ ... Kim idolized Taylor -- especially after Kim did a magazine interview with Liz for a project shortly before her death. So when Kim saw LT's 3 jade and diamond Lorraine Schwartz bangle bracelets on the auction block, she snatched 'em up for a cool $64,900.

We're told Kim believes jade harnesses energy ... and now that she owns thebracelets, KK feels she will share a deeper connection to the Hollywood icon.

Kim is not in possession of the jewelry yet ... but she's expected to get 'em sometime in the next few days.

(NEWSER– A libertarian GOP candidate for the presidency, usually ignored by mainstream media, is swinging hard at Newt Gingrich, calling him a "hypocrite" for his stance on marijuana. No, not Ron Paul. This time it's pro-pot candidate Gary Johnson, and he is slamming Gingrich for calling (in 1996) for the death penalty for pot smugglers, even though Gingrich has admitted to dabbling with the drug, reports the Huffington Post.
Gingrich "proposed the death penalty for marijuana—for possession of marijuana above a certain quantity of marijuana—and yet he is among 100 million Americans who smoke marijuana," said Johnson, who has been open about his own previous pot use. Gingrich has spoken of smoking pot in the 1960s, telling an interviewer in 1996 that, "when I smoked pot it was illegal, but not immoral. Now, it is illegal AND immoral. The law didn’t change, only the morality... That's why you get to go to jail and I don't.”

Out Gay Actress Amber Heard Has a Message for Closeted Actors

Amber Heard
Openly gay actress Amber Heard recently criticized stars who refuse to "come out" and admit their true sexuality.

She told Women's Health magazine, "You can't respect yourself if you're afraid to be who you are. It requires bravery to do something no one else around you is doing. But the risk was outweighed by the possibility of playing into this horribly detrimental lie that some in Hollywood perpetuate."
Amber came out publicly at last year's Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation 25th anniversary celebration when she arrived hand-in-hand with her partner, photographer Tasya van Ree.
The actress starred in the recently canceled NBC series "The Playboy Club" and appeared alongside Johnny Deppin "The Rum Diary

Obama’s Health Law More Than Double The People Insured } 2.5 Million More

(Reuters) - U.S. healthcare reforms have enabled 2.5 million young adults to join or remain in their parents' health insurance plans, the U.S. government said on Wednesday, up from 1 million reported earlier this year.

Federal officials fully credited the gains to the Affordable Care Act, legislation championed by President Barack Obama that took effect last year and is deemed the biggest overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system in nearly 50 years.

The law aims broadly to eventually provide medical insurance to more than 30 million uninsured Americans, and in September last year allowed young adults to stay on their parents' private insurance plans through age 26. The provision is perhaps the single most popular element of the highly-divisive law and the announcement on Wednesday elicited little reaction from congressional Republicans.

That age group previously recorded the highest uninsured rate but the new report showed they no longer do. Now 26- to 35-year-olds have that dubious distinction by a narrow margin, according to a survey conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The jump to 2.5 million young adults reported on Wednesday came as many graduated from high school and college in May and June and otherwise would have lost coverage, health officials said.

Since the policy helping young adults took effect in September 2010, the percentage of adults ages 19 to 25 covered by a private health insurance plan has increased to 73 percent in June from 64 percent, the Department of Health and Human Services said.

Over that time no change was observed in the insurance rate of adults age 26 to 35, 72 percent of whom are insured.

"Young adults were twice as likely to go without insurance... they were taking real risks," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told reporters.

"Today, 2.5 million more young Americans are no longer living with that fear. Mothers and fathers can breathe a little easier."

Federal officials said data from the first three months of 2011 showed that 1 million more young adults had coverage compared with a year ago. The U.S. Census Bureau's report earlier this year showed that about half a million more Americans age 18 to 24 received health care coverage last year.

Dozens of states and a field of contenders for the Republican presidential nomination have attacked the Affordable Care Act, sometimes dubbed "Obamacare." They hope to repeal the legislation, saying it is a symbol of intrusive government seeking to raise taxes and burden businesses with new regulation.

The U.S. Supreme Court is preparing to review the reforms, as a sharply divided public watches from the sidelines.

Gay-Bi Sexual Men unfairly targeted by police stings at Kent County parks

hands.jpg
By Rick Wilson | The Grand Rapids Press

GRAND RAPIDS — Gay men in Kent County are being targeted and entrapped by Kent County Sheriff’s deputies for behaviors that would be deemed acceptable for straight couples, a group of gay rights activist told the Kent County Commission on Tuesday.
A group including a Holland minister and a board member of Equality Michigan say sheriff’s deputies arrested 33 gay men in county parks in 2010 under the state’s soliciting and accosting statute, but claim about half of those arrests involved two men merely speaking to undercover deputies, or making casual contact like holding hands.
Miriam Aukerman, West Michigan staff attorney for the ACLU, which is investigating the allegations, said in half the reports she examined law officers initiated the contact with those they later arrested.
“In these cases, it’s the officers who are making the approaches,” Aukerman said. “It’s the officers who are doing the accosting and soliciting.”
Aukerman said the practice of sending undercover deputies in search of gay men seeking companionship has a long history.
Kent County Sheriff Larry Stelma on Tuesday defended his deputies, whom he said are merely trying to keep county parks safe for everyone.
“This is sensationalizing and a distortion of what’s happening,” Stelma said. “We do not arrest anybody, male or female, for holding hands.”
Aukerman compared the behavior described in police reports to what happens on any weekend night in bars and restaurants all over the country as people — single and otherwise — seek companionship. She said an interpretation of the state statute is being misused.
The statute states: “A person 16 years of age or older who accosts, solicits, or invites another person in a public place or in or from a building or vehicle, by word, gesture, or any other means, to commit prostitution or to do any other lewd or immoral act is guilty of a crime.”
“If you look at the exact language of the statute, you could apply it to what happens in bars and restaurants in Kent County on any Friday or Saturday night,” Aukerman said. “We have concerns about laws that limit the behavior of consenting adults.
“It’s legal to go to a park, a bar or a restaurant and say, ‘Hey, would you like to go to my place?’ We want our parks to be safe places for everyone and that includes gay people who are merely flirting.”
Stelma said that’s exactly what his deputies are trying to do. Yet he conceded some ambiguity in the state law his deputies are charged with enforcing.
“There is a range of discernment there, but whatever that act or suggestion was has to be considered by a judge or jury as being lewd or immoral,” Stelma said. “Our community has invested heavily in the parks and they expect us to keep them safe, family-friendly places and that’s what we’re going to continue to do.”
Collette Seguin Beighley, a board member of Equality Michigan and director of Grand Valley State University’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Resource Center, responded to criticism by some county commissioners that none in the gay community came forward themselves to complain.
“These are just devastating experiences for these men,” Beighley said. “Many of them are closeted and the consequences are so huge, the cost of having their cars impounded and the risk of being on the sex offender list.
“I know men who had hoped to be (at the meeting) but said, ‘If they’re targeting gay men, I’m not going to give my name and address.’”
The ACLU’s Aukerman said about half the cases she reviewed involved activity that was clearly illegal.
But others like the Rev. Bill Freeman of Holland said that targeting gay men is also illegal and should be stopped.
“There is no money changing hands, so this isn’t prostitution,” Freeman said. “We’re talking about two consenting adults who are trying to hook up together and if one of them is an undercover officer and the only thing one of them has done is say, ‘Let’s get together someplace,’ I don’t see the problem. They’re making it a problem because they’re targeting gays.”
County Attorney Dan Ophoff said changes in how county law enforcement deals with such situations are already in the works. He said his response to an ACLU letter last June has been delayed, perhaps causing frustration.
“From our perspective, we believe the arrests that were made were compliant with state law,” Ophoff said. “Some of them were dismissed before prosecution or at the preliminary stage of prosecution.”
Ophoff added there likely will be changes to the county parks ordinance offering more due process rights for those banned because of criminal behavior.
Stelma said such undercover stings are likely to continue though may become less frequent because of budget cuts.
“We certainly lost a number of bodies and we have to use our existing resources carefully so we can’t do the stings as frequently as we might have or would like to do them,” Stelma said. “We’re going to do what it takes to make our parks safe.
“We’re not devising some situation where we’re picking and choosing,” he added. “It’s a state law.”
For the gay advocacy community, that law is merely one of several that should be changed. GVSU’s Beighley suggested legislators start with including sexual orientation in civil rights protections.
“This is one of many acts going on against the gay community,” she said. “We just keep hanging out the unwelcome sign in Michigan.
“It hurts our economy but, more importantly, it hurts our humanity. It hurts who we are as human beings.”

When Men and Women Turn to the Net } They Get KINKY!

In Love & Sex by Jeffery Racheff

When the world goes online, it gets kinky. A massive new study looking at over a billion internet searches from all over the world reveals a surprising portrait of what turns humans on when they log on.
Read: Men Are More Likely to Say 'I Love You' First
In what is being called one of the largest surveys of human desire ever conducted, authors Ogi Ogas and Sai Gaddam have looked at data from a billion anonymous internet searchs, a million erotic videos and a million pornographic sites.
The results give a snapshot of what people are looking for when they're feeling randy on the internet.
Read: Nirvana Fans More Likely to Have Sex on First Date
Using data collected from Google, Yahoo and Bing, the authors discovered these top search terms related to sex:
1. Youth (13.5%)
2. Gay (4.7%)
3. MILFs (4.3%)
4. Breasts (4%)
5. Cheating wives (3.4%)
6. Vaginas (2.8%)
7. Penises (2.4%)
8. Amateurs
9. Mature
10. Animation
Read: Sex in Space Needs to Be Studied, Say Perv Scientists
Also revealed in the study:
- Straight men are are more likely to search for heavier women, and often find feet sexy.
- Straight women are not as easily turned on as men (duh), and enjoy watching and reading about two men as long as the focus is on emotion and not sex.
- Both straight and gay men have the same favorite body parts: chest, butt then feet (in that order).
Researchers believe the study, which is published in the new book 'A Billion Wicked Thoughts,' will allows people to recognize that what they might perceive as a shameful perversion is actually a desire shared by many others.

Young Male Model gets Torched } Survived but Scarred for Life

  • Hooded yob sprayed Russell Banks with lighter fluid and threw a lit match at him
  • He suffered third-degree burns to 20% of his body including hands and face
  • His attacker inadvertently set fire to himself too but did not seek medical treatment

Burns: Russell Banks was set on fire in an unprovoked attack outside a Leicester pub
A male model who suffered horrific burns to his face after a thug set him on fire has said: 'I pity the man who did this to me.'
Russell Banks, 21, was left scarred for life after a hooded yob sprayed him with lighter fluid and threw a lit match at him in a pub beer garden.
The arsonist inadvertently set fire to himself and CCTV cameras captured the moment he sprinted out of the pub with his torso covered in flames.
Mr Banks suffered third-degree burns to 20 per cent of his body including his hands, arm, chest, neck and face after the attack in October.
Surgeons removed skin from his legs and implanted it onto his chest and face but he was told he would be permanently scarred.
Yesterday the barman and part-time model, said he felt 'pity' towards his attacker, who also suffered major burns.
Speaking from his parents’ home in Sileby, Leicestershire, Mr Banks said: 'The past weeks have been grim - I wouldn’t wish it on anybody, not even my attacker.
'I feel anger and pity towards my attacker - but mainly pity for the man who did this to me.
'He’s totally changed my life but I can’t go on feeling anger towards him.'
Mr Banks was enjoying a drink with his friend Robert Laszewsk, 21, at the Rainbow and Dove gay bar in Leicester city centre when the incident happened at 12.40am on Tuesday, October 25.
The attack was totally unprovoked and Mr Banks said he had never seen or spoken to his attacker, who approached him from behind.
He desperately tried to put the flames out and suffered burns to his face and right arm.
Mr Banks recalled: 'I can actually remember it very clearly - he came from behind and the next moment I was set on fire.

'There wasn’t much pain but I was consumed with panic.
'My eyes were open and I could see the orange flames all around me.

'Once the fire was extinguished, I was absolutely freezing from the shock then it all went blurry - I don’t remember anything till I woke from my coma weeks later.'
Police believe the attacker also suffered major burns but did not seek medical treatment.
Mr Banks was rushed to Leicester Royal Infirmary where doctors sedated him and attempted to open his airways which had swollen after he inhaled the flames.
His step-mother Jane, 33, said: 'My husband Harry and I were terrified when we saw police at the hospital - that’s when we knew it was serious.

'Russell is such a lovely guy, he wouldn’t hurt a fly - that's what made this unprovoked attack so hard to comprehend.
'When we saw him, he was wearing a white mask impregnated with special chemicals for his burnt skin.
'It was very distressing - the skin on his hands looked like snake skin and was peeling away.'

Mr Banks was transferred to Nottingham City Hospital’s specialist burns unit where he spent three weeks in a chemically-induced coma.
He was connected to a dozen tubes feeding him a cocktail of drugs - including morphine, sedatives and antibiotics.
Surgeons stripped the dead skin from his hands and arms before separating his fingers to prevent them melting together.
He added: 'It took a long time to pluck up the courage to look at my burned face - I’d always been a perfectionist, a gym fanatic, and obsessed about my body.
'Whenever I walked into a room, the nurses - who provided amazing care - would tape up any mirrors or reflective surfaces.
'When I finally decided to look at myself it was the biggest shock - I thought I was a different person.
'I broke down, it was just too much. The attack had taken my identity away.
'But after that initial shock, I’m coming to accept it - I can’t change my scars, they tell a story after all.'
Mr Banks finally came home on Thursday, November 24, but has been plagued by pain and discomfort.
He said: 'Everything is sore and tight and the nights are tough - I’m roasting one moment, freezing the next.
'Climbing the stairs is very tricky and I’ve lost all the grip in my fingertips so turning on the tap is hard too.
'I want to get on with my life and I’d love to get back to modelling but I know that is probably not going to be possible.'
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack.
A Leicestershire Police spokeswoman said: 'A 21-year-old man was arrested in the London area on Wednesday November 23 and has been bailed pending further inquiries for the Leicester offence, but he remains on remand for an offence in Essex.’
