What Happened To Pizza Hermie Cain? } The Mushroom went Bad with too much of A blue Pill

This new revelation of Cheating with his wife is the heat that melted the cheese on the pizza!  No More Cain. Period.

Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain is reassessing the future of his increasingly beleaguered campaign in the wake of explosive allegations about a long-term affair with an Atlanta businesswoman.
During a conference call with senior staff this morning Cain said that the latest upset to his campaign would force him to look at his options. But he added that he had faced previous crises, including over finances and repeated allegations of sexual harassment, and always decided to carry on.
"We are going to reassess things over the next several days, and we will contact you over the next several days and let you know – positive, negative – whatever the case may be," Cain told about 90 people on the call, according to a report in Iowa's Des Moines Register.
The newspaper added that Cain had vowed to keep to his schedule while the reassessment was going on, including attending a foreign policy speech on Wednesday night in Hillsdale College, Michigan, which he said he would give with "vim, vigour and enthusiasm."
The shock news of the alleged affair is the latest swerve in the rollercoaster ride of the former pizza magnate's bid for the Republican nomination. But, as Cain acknowledged on the conference call, this latest scandal had cast a serious shadow over his run.
"Any time you put another cloud of doubt, unfortunately, in the court of public opinion, you're guilty until proven innocent. The public is going to have to decide whether they believe her or whether they believe me," the Register reported Cain saying.
Cain, who has also faced multiple accusations of sexual harassment from his time as head of the National Restaurant Association, has denied Ginger White's claims that the two had a consensual on-and-off sexual affair that lasted 13 years. Cain took the extraordinary step of breaking the news of the allegations himself during an interview with CNN in an apparent attempt to get ahead of the story, which was about to be broadcast by a Fox affiliate station in Atlanta.
"Here we go again. I didn't do anything wrong," Cain said as he denied the allegations that the two had had sex.
That swift response and attempt to knock down the story is in marked contrast to more ham-fisted and slow reactions to previous claims of sexual harassment against Cain by a variety of other women. In denying those allegations, Cain endured a storm of criticism for changing his story and being slow to respond at a time when his campaign was riding high in the polls, and when he was challenging Mitt Romney for the position of Republican frontrunner.
But Cain's denial of White's version of events appears unlikely to kill the story. On Monday White told Fox 5 Atlanta that the affair between her and Cain had ended shortly before he began his run for the presidency. She described a "fun" relationship in which Cain even bought her plane tickets so that they could meet in California.
"It was something that took me away from my sort of humdrum life at the time. And it was exciting," she told the TV station.
She detailed an affair that began when Cain invited her up to his hotel room after an NRA event, and said she was coming forward now because she had been disturbed by the treatment of the women who had accused Cain of harassment.
"It bothered me that they were being demonised, sort of … they were treated as if they were automatically lying, and the burden of proof was on them. I felt bad for them," she said.
Later, White told the Associated Press that Cain was lying when he denied their affair. "What I said in the interview was true," she said.
Cain's lawyer, Lin Wood, however, issued a statement to the TV channel that appeared to go some way towards acknowledging the possibility of a relationship and – unlike Cain's statements on CNN – contained no outright denial.
"This appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults – a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official should be questioned about his or her private sexual life," the statement said.
White showed journalists from the TV station phone bills that had 61 calls or texts from a number that she said belonged to Cain. When reporters texted the number, Cain called back. Cain has admitted that he knows White, but only that he considered her a friend that he was helping out because she did not have a job.
Since becoming embroiled in the numerous allegations about his sexual behaviour, Cain's poll numbers have taken a tumble. In the vital early voting state of Iowa – which officially kicks of the GOP nomination race in early January – the latest poll had Cain at just 10%, way behind Newt Gingrich at 28% and behind both Mitt Romney and Ron Paul at 13 and 13% respectively. A poll in Iowa earlier this month had Cain on top of the race at 20%.
Cain has also suffered from a series of other gaffes and mis-steps, including apparently getting China and Iran's nuclear programmes confused, and a muddled answer to a question about Libya that went viral on the internet.
Given that Cain is set to be addressing foreign policy issues at his speech in Michigan, his aides will no doubt be hoping for a smoother performance in an area that has previously been a marked weakness for the controversial candidate.

Michael Urie on Coming Out } It gets easier for actors when a high profile performer comes out

http://www.buddytv.com/articles/Ugly_Betty/Images/Michael_Urie_Ugly_Betty.jpgFormer Ugly Betty star Michael Urie is dedicating a lot more time to his stage career these days in such plays as The Temperamentals and last year’s revival ofAngels in America.
The actor was interviewed by Huffington Post and has some interesting things to say about being out:
Your “Ugly Betty” character, Marc St. James, was really ahead of the curve in terms of being a fashion-loving, flamboyant young gay man on a TV series. How much of an influence do you think the character had on the current array of unashamedly gay characters on primetime TV?
When I look at the things we were doing on “Ugly Betty” in its first season, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come as a society… not just on TV, but as a society. Shows like “Modern Family” and “Glee” are two of the biggest comedies on TV and certainly very buzzworthy, and both have great gay characters who have really big problems beyond just coming out of the closet. I think we’ve come a long way, and I like to think we helped pave the way. I remember when I was a kid, watching Ellen Degeneres come out on TV with my family. I imagine kids that were that age in 2005 or 2006 watching “Ugly Betty” and being able to see themselves. Also, having the Justin Suarez character [played by Mark Indelicato] come out of the closet was a major, major step forward for LGBT youth on TV. He certainly helped pave the way for the Kurt Hummel character on “Glee.”
You’ve said in the past that you weren’t comfortable talking about your sexual orientation in the media. How was that changed for you?
When “Ugly Betty” first came on, I was certainly very keen to leaving the door open to playing leading men, romantic leads. When I first started on the show, not even Neil Patrick Harris was out yet. I learned pretty quickly that while it would limit me, it wouldn’t limit me more than I was already limited, if that makes sense. Sometimes I play gay characters, sometimes I play straight characters…I just think of myself as playing awesome characters.

So would you encourage new, up-and-coming actors to come out of the closet?

I think that for certain people, if it were to come out, it would still limit them as actors, which is why there are a lot of them who choose to remain mum about their sexuality. Every time another high-profile person comes out, it becomes less and less of a burden for actors. But people with the biggest suspension of disbelief are those who watch TV or go to the theater for pleasure only. It’s so interesting what people will say when you encourage them to judge it. While it’s tricky when you’re trying to get jobs…once you get the job, that’s the easy part.

Church Killing People with HIV } In Britain 6 Dead

At least six people have died in Britain after evangelical churches told them to stop taking their medication because they had been healed of HIV, medical professionals have revealed to Sky News.
To investigate the claim, Sky News sent three undercover reporter to one of the churches, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Southwark, south London. The wealthy church was founded by Pastor T.B. Joshua, who claims to be a prophet, and has branches in Ghana, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Greece.
All three of the undercover reporters told church officials they were suffering from HIV, and all three undercover reporters were told they could be cured.
The reporters were also told they could discard their potentially life-saving antiviral medications.
On their website, the church claims to have healed everything from HIV to Crohn’s disease to mental disorders.
“It is foolish advice and it is tragic advice because the consequences of this kind of advice can only be that people pass on HIV and can only be seriously bad for the individual concerned — including death,” said former health secretary Lord Fowler.

DOLCE & GABBANA } Tax Evasion Charges

  Out.com

BY MAX BERLINGER

The Italian design duo will stand trial later this year.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the creative team behind the hyper-sexy Italian label Dolce & Gabbana have been summonsed to appear in court to face charges that they have neglected to pay over $500 million in back taxes. This news comes on the heels of another major revalation, when they announced that they would shutter their secondary line, D&G back in September in order to focus on their main collection.
In April of this year, the duo were legally cleared of charges of any wrongdoing but last Wednesday, Italy's version of the Supreme Court overruled the previous judgement and are now asking that the pair stand trial and address the accusations.

Transgender Pro Footballer Leads Samoan Team To First Win in almost two decades

Oh to be amongst school yard bullies again! To every kid who was picked last in gym class because he was more "feminine" than the other boys, this goes out to you! Details after the jump.
American Samoa had two things to celebrate last week. Coming out of a 17-year streak of 30 consecutive defeats, they finally won! And they did so by fielding the first ever transgender player in an official match!
Defender Johnny "Jayieh" Saelua helped the 204th ranked Samoans defeat the 202nd ranked Tonga 2-1. Closing the game, head coach Thomas Rongen said, "I've really got a female starting at centre back. Can you imagine that in England or Spain?"
Saelua is part of the fa'afafine (biological males who have a strong feminine gender orientation and identify as a third sex that is widely accepted in Polynesian culture). The defender was raised as female and said after the match that "the team accepts me and we have that mutual respect. Which is great. It's all part of the culture."
To top it all off, Saelua was also named "Man of the Match" after providing an assist and making a goal-line clearance in the dying seconds of the game. (That awkward moment when a woman is called a man and it is a compliment). Congrats to Saelua and the team.

United Airlines Manager } Calls Gay Couple Travelers “Faggots"

A gay couple has claimed they were called ‘faggots’ by a United Airlines manager as they waited for a flight home after Thanksgiving.
The gay slur allegedly took place as Billy Canu and his partner waited for a flight from Denver International Airport on Saturday.
The pair, who were travelling to San Diego, inquired about using a United passenger lounge.

After the agents at the airline desk gave them ‘a very condescending, sort of rude answer’, the couple began complaining and were approached by a manager they identified as Rodney Hill.
Recounting the incident, Canu claimed that, rather than help, Hill ‘continued to fuel the fire’.

‘We challenged him to act better,’ Canu said as he described the incident on a Facebook post. ‘He then followed us, threatening again to remove us, at which point we walked away.
‘Rodney Hill then shouted “idiots” at us. Angered at this, my partner attempted to walk back to challenge him.

Reeling from the shocking slur, the couple wanted to return – but feared any further arguments could mean they were kicked out of the airport.
'We were completely shocked. We were shaking,' Canu told ABC-7. 'We were totally alarmed.'
Instead, he decided to return to the desk to ask for the manager’s full name. When he did, Canu claimed Hill said: ‘Don’t you dare patronise me.’
He returned to the gate and began posting what happened on Twitter and Facebook.
Supporters of the couple began re-posting the complaint and flooded United Airlines’ pages with outraged comments about Hill’s alleged behaviour.
Hill has worked for United Airlines’ management for three years, according to his page on LinkedIn, a professional networking site.

On the site, he claims he was recognized by the company’s CEO Glen Tilton for ‘Excellence in Customer Service 2010’.
And despite how he allegedly handled the customers, he claims he has ‘expertise in staffing and evaluation of personnel to assure adherence to quality service and customer satisfaction’.

Canu was also shocked with the 'customer service' from other staff.
He claimed that when he first inquired at the desk - where there was no line - the staff started laughing over who would help.
He said one woman said: 'I can't help as I'm pregnant' and laughed.
Other staff used a condescending tone, he claimed.
United Airlines said it is ‘reviewing’ the complaint.
‘United does not tolerate discrimination of any kind,’ said airline spokeswoman Megan McCarthy.
‘We have received this complaint and are reviewing, and we will reach out to the customer directly.’
Canu and his partner said they just want an apology from the airline.
‘No one wants to be handled in a derogatory way,’ he told ABC7. ‘We understand things can get heated, but I think their customer service could’ve handled it much better.’

Sexy Stud Ben Cohen Signs at London Gay Sex Shop (see vid)

BY: JOE THOMPSON

Surrounded by briefs, jocks, thongs and sex toys, rugby star Ben Cohen autographed copies of his 2012 calender for a throng of fans at Prowler Soho in London. The shop is described by the company's Facebook page as a "the UK's most exciting gay lifestyle store"— We would call it a "sex shop" or "porn store," but why quibble?— and proceeds from the calendar go to support Cohen's StandUp Foundation's anti-bullying campaign.
The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation supports organizations, programs and people that advance equality for the LGBT community, and who assist at-risk youth by standing up against bullying. The group includes removing homophobia from sports as central to its mission. Cohen's public appearances like this one at Prowler raise funds for the organization, as well as garner a great deal of press and attention for anti-bullying programs.
"The queue stretched out the store and as far as Wardour Street!" saidProwler's Facebook photo page. "Ben was delighted with the response, particularly as many of you thanked him for the work he does to fight bullying and homophobia via the Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation."
Learn more about Cohen and the signing on Advocate.com. You can order a copy of the calendar from Prowler Soho or from the StandUp Foundation's website.

Another Woman Comes Out Hermie Cain Closet } This time is a Long Term Affair

Herman Cain with his wife, Gloria, at a rally in Atlanta back in May (AP)
To date, all the allegations against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain have involved unwanted sexual harassment or outright sexual assault. Now, Ginger White, an Atlanta businesswoman, has told a FOX affiliatethat she had a consensual affair with Cain.
In the interview which will air tonight, White says, “It was pretty simple…I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship.” Cain, a resident of an Atlanta suburb, has taken to CNN to temper accusations before they air. "This individual is going to accuse me of an affair for an extended period of time," he said. "It is someone that I know who is an acquaintance that I thought was a friend." Cain says, "I didn't do anything wrong."
Cain's attorney, Lin Wood, released a statement of a considerably different tone to the FOX affiliate concerning the revelations that doesn't deny the accusations, but instead argues that it's nobody's business:
Mr. Cain has been informed today that your television station plans to broadcast a story this evening in which a female will make an accusation that she engaged in a 13-year long physical relationship with Mr. Cain. This is not an accusation of harassment in the workplace - this is not an accusation of an assault - which are subject matters of legitimate inquiry to a political candidate.
Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public's right to know and the media's right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one's bedroom door.
Mr. Cain has alerted his wife to this new accusation and discussed it with her. He has no obligation to discuss these types of accusations publicly with the media and he will not do so even if his principled position is viewed unfavorably by members of the media.
Most interesting is the assertion that no one "should be questioned about his or her private sexual life" when Cain himself has forcefully argued for a Constitutional amendment against same-sex marriage and deemed thathomosexuality is a "choice." So, sexuality has no business in government or the political realm EXCEPT if we're talking about gay people, who should stop asking for equal protection under the law and "change back" to being heterosexual. Somewhere, Newt Gingrich is giggling.
