Rosie O’Donnell } Sends Homophobe Michelle Bachmann a “GayDar” Gun
Peter Lloyd pinkpaper.comLesbian TV presenter Rosie O'Donnell has sent anti-gay politician Michelle Bachman a tongue-in-cheek Christmas gift – a Gaydar Gun.
The comedienne announced the news on her TV series, The Rosie Show, which airs on Oprah Winfrey's OWN Network.
The toy – which pretends to be able to determine a person's sexuality – will probably not get a warm reception by Bachman and her husband, who has been dogged by rumours and jibes about his sexual orientation.
According to the gadget's press release, the Gaydar Gun has "over 650 outrageous sayings for men and women" and, although it can't guarantee romance or even accuracy, it does offer "hours of laughter".
“In the big picture, a person’s sexuality is as randomly determined as a pull of the trigger on the Gaydar Gun,” says Terry Ray, the toy’s creator.
“With the Gaydar Gun there are no wrong answers because everyone’s sexuality is A-Okay. We are what we are, so let’s just have a good laugh at ourselves. That’s what the Gaydar Gun is all about” he says.
