Hulk Hogan wants payback. Less than a month after court documents revealed that the wrestler had to giveex-wife Linda Bollea more than 70 percent of their liquid assets in their divorce, he has filed a defamation suit against Linda over her physical abuse allegations in her recent memoir and her apparent confirmation in an interview that he had a homosexual relationship with fellow wrestlerBrutus Beefcakethe St. Petersburg Times reports.
In fact, in that interview, she laughed when asked about the rumors of the Hulk-Beefcake hook-up and said, ""Wow, I don't know how to answer this, so I don't end up getting a lawsuit. A little bird told me, ‘Yes they think they did.'" Hogan quickly denied the relationship on Twitter, saying she would do anything "just to stay in her perverted spotlight,”
In the memoir, "Wrestling the Hulk — My Life Against the Ropes," published by HarperCollins, Linda also claims that Hogan throttled her during arguments, and that, "I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages." But she also writes that she never told police because she was afraid the allegations would hurt the family's livelihood.
Hogan's lawyer denies all the charges, and dismissed the memoir as Linda's attempt to reviver her "sagging career" since the end of their reality show "Hogan Knows Best" in 2007 and the couple's subsequent divorce.
