Openly gay athlete Craig Cassey speaks out on Spirit Day against bullying
Our friend Craig Cassey, whom we havewritten about numerpus times, appeared on Dallas TV today as part of Spirit Day, where people wear purple to show solidarity with LGBT people against bullying. He is a freshman at Georgetown University, on the track team and openly gay.
Craig was in Dallas as part of a 5K run sponsored by GLAAD. He appeared on WFAA and of course wore purple to the interview:

Bonnie and Whitney from Big Rich, Texas gave a shoutout for Get Amped, the 5K walk/race kicks off tonight and it’s no coincidence that this event falls on National Spirit Day.
