Anne Hathaway has revealed that she believes some of her former boyfriends are gay.
The One Day actress - who has been in a relationship with actor Adam Shulman for three years - claimed that she is "convinced" that a few of her previous dates were in the closet.
Hathaway told the September issue of Interview magazine: "I'm convinced that a few guys I've dated are gay, and they won't admit it. I think we've all done that."
The 28-year-old also said that she wishes her home state would legalise gay marriage like other US states.
Hathaway explained: "My older brother is gay. [New] Jersey needs to get on the New York bandwagon and legalise gay marriage."
The Dark Knight Rises actress was on holiday in Positano, Italy when the interview was conducted, saying: "I'm in Positano with my man. This is one of my favorite places in the world.
"It's ridiculous. It kind of reminds me of Southern California, but without strip malls and a bit more charm."
Hathaway recently compared fame to taking cocaine.
